President Donald Trump is attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York City this week, where the audience began to chuckle during his speech on Tuesday. Well, it didn’t take long for First Lady Melania Trump to wipe the smirks straight off of their smug faces. You’re going to love this!

President Donald Trump began his remarks to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday morning by celebrating the fact that his administration has accomplished so much in such little time. “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished almost more than any other administration in the history of our country,” said the president.

Indeed, it’s difficult to believe that we have come so far, especially after having been left in such a bad situation when Barack Obama left office.

Under President Trump, unemployment has reached the lowest numbers on record, GDP is at a staggering 4.2 percent, and major companies are investing in our economy once again. Remember when Obama mocked Trump, saying he couldn’t just wave a magic wand and make jobs come back to America? Apparently, Trump has that magic wand.

Perhaps jealous that President Trump has been so successful, the audience at the United Nations on Tuesday began to chuckle as he lauded his administration’s accomplishments. “Didn’t expect that reaction but that’s OK,” the president said, brushing it off. However, they didn’t think it was so funny when Trump schooled them on the dangers of globalism and sung the praises of patriotism.

According to everyone but the mainstream media, President Trump’s speech was a total home run. He went on to say, “We reject the ideology of globalism and embrace the doctrine of patriotism,” adding that the United States “will not be taken advantage of any longer.”

President Trump excoriated the “ideology of globalism” and multinational authorities, underscoring the importance of national sovereignty and need for countries to pay for their own defense in his address before the United Nations General Assembly in New York Tuesday.

“I honor every nation to pursue its own customs, beliefs, and traditions. The United States will not tell you how to live or work or worship,” said Trump. “We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return.”

Rather than report on all of the important things Trump said in his speech, the media decided to focus in on a brief moment in the beginning when some diplomats chuckled. However, First Lady Melania Trump came to the president’s defense soon afterward, wiping the smirks right off the smug faces of everyone at the UN and in the media.

As she was leaving the United Nations building in New York after her husband’s speech, reporters asked Melania what she thought of the president’s remarks. She simply grinned and uttered one word: “Fantastic.”

Melania Trump was obviously pleased with her husband’s speech. But this support and affection for him are in stark contrast to how the left often tries to characterize her as disliking, or merely enduring, her husband. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth.

The footage doesn’t lie — Melania is just as proud and enamored with the president as his loyal voter base is. She is a true class act.
