Goldberg blasted President Donald Trump’s stance that he would shut down the government to make sure the wall got funding from Congress. The actress said that if Trump wants the wall so bad he should pay for it because Americans oppose building the wall. Well, poor Whoopi was made to regret her words. You’ll love this.

For over a month, the Democrats have failed to meet with the president to discuss building the wall. Trump has tried every type of diplomatic approach, and finally, he had enough. The president wanted every American to see just how ridiculous the Democrats are when it comes to our national security.
The Daily Caller reports, “It was clear from the start that the Democratic leaders were not expecting to start their discussion in front of cameras, as they immediately defaulted to their talking points. For his part, Trump gave no ground, insisting on $5 billion to build portions of the border wall he promised during his campaign. In the end, the idea of a government shutdown to secure the border was fully embraced by the president.”
And the funny thing was, Pelosi and Schumer kept whining about the cameras. They claim they want transparency, but when it comes right down to it, they were begging the president to make the press leave, so their pro-open borders stance wouldn’t be exposed.
Which brings us to Whoopi Goldberg and her idea that since Americans don’t really want the wall, the president should pay for it. “[Trump] can open up that very fat wallet he talks about and start the ball rolling,” quipped Goldberg, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Laughing, Whoopi continued, “[Trump] can put 10% down, just 10% down because he is a construction guy and he can just get it built! I mean, how hard can it be for YOU to build the wall?”
“And then pass the hat, you know, maybe put a ‘Go Fund Me’ wall page up,” joked Goldberg. The shrews then go on to discuss how really the wall is just about “Trump’s ego” and not something America really needs.
The so-called conservative, Abby Huntsman, claimed that in America it’s only “Trump’s base who wants that [the wall] to still happen.” Wow, the shrews are so disconnected from the majority of Americans who want the wall and also support family deportations, according to a poll.
“But 65 percent of Republicans do not think Trump should compromise, even if it means a [government] shutdown, and 63 percent say building a wall should be a top priority,” reports the Washington Post.
Then, Joy Behar claimed Trump hasn’t accomplished anything as president. She said, “Trump’s base really didn’t get anything else. Taxes really didn’t go down and their air is getting polluted, and we don’t have friendships around the world anymore..so what did [Trump’s] base get but maybe the wall?”
Nearly 3 million jobs have been created since President Trump took office. 304,000 manufacturing jobs have been created. The unemployment rate has dropped to 3.7, the lowest rate since 1969, and job openings have reached 6.6 million, the highest level ever recorded, reported NPR.
President Trump signed the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law, cutting taxes for American families and making American business more competitive. American families received $3.2 trillion in gross tax cuts and saw the child tax credit double.
Look, we could go on. The United States has overtaken Saudi Arabia and Russia to become the largest global crude oil producer, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. This miraculous turn around all happened under Trump, and we aren’t even getting to the foreign policy wins like Israel or NATO or North Korea.
America is finally respected once again. No longer can countries push us around as they did under Barack Obama. Maybe big mouth Behar needs to understand that America doesn’t need to be liked. We need to be respected by our allies and feared by our enemies.
Well, Conservative pundit Mark Levin had a message for Whoopi and the shrews about the border wall. “Democrats …favored $150 billion for the Iranian terror regime but oppose $5 billion to secure our border. Pretty sick when you think about it,” tweeted Levin.
Twitter user “Roger” also weighed in destroying Whoopi’s stance on the wall, as he explained the meeting in the Oval Office: “Its guaranteed, if this would’ve happened with no cameras present, the storyline would be Anti-Trump, with a Democrat MSM spin shredding Trumps stance on border security. Since when is it ok to sacrifice safety? This has nothing to do with race, it has to do with American security.”
So, where
The View’s co-hosts prove once again they have no clue what Americans want or need. Yes, we need border security, and I’ll bet the president will get his way. That will be a dark day for the shrews of The View.
