According to Kaepernick, America has “dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized, and terrorized” blacks for centuries. He further called the celebrations commemorating the nation’s founding a “celebration of white supremacy” which he claims Black Lives Matter rejects. Well, that’s when poor Colin got an epic smackdown he never saw coming. You’ll love this.
Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter on Independence Day to deliver a strong rebuke to the celebration of our nation’s founding.
“Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of ‘independence’, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all,” he tweeted.

Kaepernick, the NFL’s original anthem protester, has not played in the NFL since the end of the 2016 season. After a long legal battle with the NFL, in which he accused the league of “blackballing” him and fellow protester Eric Reid, the NFL eventually settled the suit with Kaepernick.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently apologized for not listening to Kaepernick and other protesters. He then went so far as to say he would “encourage” a team to sign Kaepernick.
Kaepernick and his cohorts in BLM have no idea about July 4. They have been brainwashed into believing America was founded on slavery. A quick history lesson is what these radical leftists need.
Every member of that first Continental Congress was being hunted down by King George’s men for treason during the summer of 1776. Fifty years later, John Adams scoffed at the now-famous painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence saying the signers did not sign at the same time. They had to sneak into the Philadephia room at all hours to sign what the British claimed was a “treasonous document.”
Even before the list was published, the British marked down all Members of Congress suspected of having put their names to the Declaration of Independence. They all became the objects of vicious manhunts. Some were taken; some, like Thomas Jefferson, had narrow escapes.
“Indeed we must all hang together. Otherwise, we shall most assuredly hang separately,” Benjamin Franklin said. He was dead serious. Most of the signers were not wealthy men, and during the eight years the Revolutionary War went on, they were on the run like common criminals.
These are not the actions of men who were trying to make a slave state. These are the actions of men who were willing to risk their lives for freedom.
The citizens of Los Angeles County were told by their corrupt county officials this past July 4 that fireworks would be outlawed. Those citizens risked being arrested for “illegal fireworks” by leftwing radicals who hate our country. They celebrated anyway.

Americans also blasted Colin Kaepernick over his July 4 tweet. In fact, they pointed out what a hypocrite he really is.
“You’re a fraud,” tweeted Twitter user “Kat,” who added a 2011 tweet from Kaepernick himself. On July 4, 2011, the disgraced former football player said: “Happy 4th of July everyone I hope everyone has a blessed day!”

Colin Kaepernick is a deluded leftwing radical who has no idea about real American history.
Toward the end of the Declaration of Independence, it reads: “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”
Even though most of the signers were not rich, they were major landowners and had an awful lot to lose, including their lives. They solely relied on “Divine Providence” for their revolution.
Kaepernick and his Black Lives Matter cohorts know nothing about “Divine Providence” or “Sacred Honor.” They are deluded and ignorant of what America is and what we stand for. The signers of the Declaration of Independence must be rolling over in their graves wondering how the BLM protesters are so ignorant of American history.
All Americans have a duty to correct the misconceptions these radicals are fomenting about America, and make no mistake, Colin Kaepernick will not be remembered in history at all.
