Americans are outraged at the circumstances surrounding the death of George Floyd. An evil officer like Derek Chauvin, who had 19 years on the Minneapolis Police Department, should have been stopped long before he ever met Floyd on Monday. Well, now we know it was Senator Amy Klobuchar and other Minnesota Democrats, who had the chance to stop him multiple times, but they looked the other way. Don’t miss this.
Senator Amy Klobuchar had a chance to stop former Officer Derek Chauvin in 2006. Evil, power-hungry rogue officers usually have a long history of their sociopathic behavior that is well-known. Klobuchar boasted about her tenure as a “tough prosecutor” as she won her senate seat in 2007.
Before we get to the Minnesota Senator’s dealings with Chauvin, it’s important to note that Minneapolis and Minnesota have been ruled by the Democrats for over 30 years. If there are bad cops, you can chalk it up to bad leaders within the Democrat-run police departments all the way to the Minnesota statehouse.
It’s under their watch that George Floyd was killed, and it is under their watch that Minneapolis is burning.
In October 2006, Derrick Chauvin was one of six officers involved in the shooting of a man who had stabbed multiple people before turning on the police. “In particular, [Chauvin] was involved in the shooting death of a man who had stabbed other people before attacking police, as well as some other undisclosed complaints,” Yahoo reports.
This case was assigned to none other than Amy Klobuchar. The truth is Klobachar was too busy running for the senate to be bothered. Many media outlets are reporting Chauvin had multiple complaints by 2006 besides this case that came before Klobuchar.
Instead, the soon-to-be senator passed the buck to the grand jury which is a common practice that benefits the officers. “I never declined the case,” Klobuchar said Friday morning on MSNBC. “It was handled and sent to the grand jury,”
“When I was county attorney, cases we had involving officer-involved shootings went to a grand jury. I think that was wrong, now,” she added. “It would have been much better if I took responsibility and looked at cases and made a decision myself.”
Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin saw at least 10 conduct complaints during his 19-year tenure before he was fired Tuesday, according to a database that documents complaints against police.
In 2008 and 2011, Chauvin was given a pass again by the Democrats in charge.
In 2008, Chauvin shot a man who allegedly reached for an officer’s gun during a domestic-violence call. (The man survived the shot.) In 2011, he was one of five officers placed on a standard three-day leave after the non-fatal shooting of a Native American man. The officers returned to work after the force determined that they had acted “appropriately.”
The facts surrounding the 2008 shooting need to be re-visited. The 911 call was for domestic violence, and Chauvin and a partner were dispatched to the apartment of Ira Latrell Toles.
“Chauvin and another officer who responded had to force their way into the apartment,” Twin Cities reports. “Toles ran from the officers as soon as they got inside, but they caught and tried to subdue him, according to police. In the struggle, Toles grabbed at one of the officer’s guns. Chauvin fired at Toles and hit him in the torso.”
Veteran law enforcement officers will tell you this “he tried to grab my gun” defense for shooting a suspect is something bad officers will fall back on when there are no credible witnesses.
With any profession, there are good and bad employees. Derek Chauvin is an evil person and the Democrats in charge in Minneapolis missed opportunity after opportunity to get rid of him. The city has been run by hardcore leftwing Democrats for years, and Amy Klobuchar’s inaction was just one of many missed opportunities to rid Minneapolis of an evil sociopathic cop.
