Campbell was making remarks on Hurricane Dorian, a deadly storm headed toward Florida, and she made a disgraceful statement. “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!” Campbell quipped. Well, poor Kim was really made to regret it as Americans fired back. You’ll love this.
Kim Campbell is often compared to Hillary Clinton. However, the 72-year-old Canadian actually held the highest office in her nation in 1993, but she was shellacked within five months. Campbell is a globalist and is considered a global warming wacko. She served as Canada’s first and only woman PM.
On Thursday, Campbell issued a horrifying tweet in which she stated she wanted the deadly hurricane Dorian to strike President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
In response to a tweet from a scientist warning that Dorian was a major hurricane threat to the East Coast this weekend and that Florida was in the hurricane’s crosshairs, Kim Campbell tweeted, “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!”
The Daily Wire reported: When someone pointed out to the unrepentant Campbell, “What the heck is wrong with you. There are real people who live and work there,” Campbell snapped back, “get a grip,” tweeting, “As there are in Puerto Rico- sorry you don’t get snark- but Trump’s indifference to suffering is intolerable! We’d also help if he tackled climate change which is making hurricanes more destructive! Instead, he will remove limits on methane! Get a grip!”
Americans responded to the former PM making it clear they aren’t going to tolerate anyone wishing ill on Trump or the state of Florida.

“What she does or does not realize, is that this storm will affect the entire state of Florida. Homes will be destroyed. Trees will fall. But we are Floridians, will survive. This has nothing to do w politics. It’s hurricane season and I sure hope all our Canadian visitors survive,” tweeted Sherry Meurer.

“As someone who has experienced the dangers and utter destruction of hurricanes firsthand, I can say that this woman is nothing but a vile example of hatred for Trump personified and should be ashamed of herself. Many homes surround Trump’s and will be affected as well,” tweeted “Wanda.”

Well, after getting excoriated on social media for several hours, Campbell apologized and made the excuse she was using “sarcasm.”
“I have deleted my tweet about the hurricane & Mar a Lago and sincerely apologize to all it offended. It was intended as sarcasm-not a serious wish of harm. Throwaway lines get a life of their own on Twitter. I shd know better. Mea culpa,” tweeted Campbell.
However, Americans weren’t satisfied with her so-called apology.
“It wasn’t sarcasm. In the very next part of that thread you said it was about trump and Puerto Rico and this was a lesson to be dealt out by Mother Nature. The only thing you learned is that you have to keep a tighter hold of the mask so it doesn’t slip again,” tweeted Sai-Fon.

“A real apology would have included, ‘What I said was wrong, beyond the pale, and I’m seeking treatment for my mental illness that caused me to say such an inhuman, outrageous, grotesque thing.'” tweeted Van Demerest.

Campbell also is like Hillary with her apology — make a lame excuse instead of taking full responsibility. Who can forget after the 2016 election Hillary running around blaming everyone and everything for her loss besides herself?
It also is the mark of a liberal. Taking personal responsibility for their mistakes is not something in their repertoire. Their fragile egos and deep-seated need to always be right hampers their maturity. Anyone who is still a leftist after 40-years-old hasn’t fully matured and probably never will.
“If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain,” is the old saying which pretty much sums up Campbell and her ilk. It was a relief to see so many conservatives pushed back at the hate-filled words of a former world leader who never really grew up.
