Democrat Senator Held Secret Meeting With Iranian Foreign Minister – Behind Trump’s Back

Democrat Chris Murphy of Connecticut was caught redhanded holding a secret meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif without President Donald Trump’s knowledge. This could be the start of another coup attempt. In fact, Murphy’s actions are so egregious with Iran, they will blow your mind. Don’t miss this.

After Senator Murphy was caught redhanded by reporter Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist, he published on his blog: “I just got back from a return trip to visit President Zelensky in Ukraine and a stop at the important Munich Security Conference in Germany.”

Right, nothing to see here folks, even though Murphy spent two days denying the facts surrounding this trip.

After Mollie Hemingway first reported the meeting Monday, Murphy did not respond to any media inquiries. Tuesday, he published an account of his trip in blog form on Medium, sharing details of his meetings and describing his “mission” to meet with officials of Iran, which he described as “our adversary, responsible for the killing of thousands of Americans.”

Murphy also described his “goals” for meeting with Zarif but admitted that he “cannot conduct diplomacy on behalf of the whole of the U.S. government, and I don’t pretend to be in a position to do so. But if Trump isn’t going to talk to Iran, then someone should.”

This is just outlandish, meeting with our mortal enemy behind the president’s back.

We also have to wonder what in hell he was saying to Ukraine’s president in light of the recent impeachment. The Democrats have said they will impeach Trump again if they find new information.

“Attached is my usual account of my latest trip abroad, this one to Ukraine and Munich. I met w the Iranian Foreign Minister in Munich. It’s dangerous not to talk to adversaries, esp amidst a cycle of escalation. Quick thread on what I told Zarif,” tweeted Murphy after he was caught redhanded.

Murphy said he wanted to discuss Iran’s reprisals for the killing of Qasem Soleimani, aid in Yemen, and American prisoners held in Iran.

“A lack of dialogue leaves nations guessing about their enemy’s intentions, and guessing wrong can lead to catastrophic mistakes,” Murphy wrote, trying to justify his possible undermining of U.S. foreign policy.

During a press conference with Ethiopian Minister Gedu Andargachew in the East African nation Tuesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo responded to The Federalist’s report of Murphy’s meeting.

“If they met, I don’t know what they said. I hope they were reinforcing America’s foreign policy and not their own,” Pompeo said after noting that Zarif is the foreign minister of a country that is the world’s largest sponsor of both terror and antisemitism.

Murphy, an avowed Trump-hater, was also the guy who started the bogus investigation into Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn.

In 2017, Murphy demanded an investigation into then-National Security Adviser Mike Flynn because he had a phone call with a counterpart in Russia. “Any effort to undermine our nation’s foreign policy – even during a transition period – may be illegal and must be taken seriously,” Murphy said.

For Flynn, who was the incoming National Security Adviser, a phone call with Russia was a problem that needed to be investigated, according to Murphy? What about secret meetings without the president’s knowledge with Iran? Should that be investigated?

Or can we just call it what it is? Undermining the Commander in Chief.

Making matter worse for Senator Murphy, a State Department official told The Federalist that the State Department was not aware of any side meetings with Iranian officials that Murphy was engaged in.

Murphy writes in his blog: “As is my habit, on the long plane ride home I wrote a candid, behind-the-scenes summary of my trip. I find that these journals help me digest my thoughts about these foreign trips.”

Sure he did. Funny how this “candid behind-the-scenes summary” pops up just as he is caught redhanded.

The Democrats and their cohorts will stop at nothing to oust President Trump. It’s time the Justice Department and AG Bill Barr start delivering up some of these traitors for prosecution. Americans have been patient. However, if heads don’t start to roll soon, the backlash by patriots is something that won’t be easily stopped.
