Hillary Clinton’s Hopes For A 2020 Presidential Run Just Went Up In Smoke

Although Hillary Clinton has tried twice and failed, rumors have still circulated that 2020 could see the Democrat in yet another run for the presidency. However, any hopes for a successful 2020 run just went up in smoke.

Hillary Clinton had a nice ride: She was the first lady of Arkansas, first lady of the United States, a U.S. Senator, the Secretary of State, and was cruising to becoming the first female President of the United States.

Then, November 8, 2016, happened and she lost an election that she was so sure she would have won. The contributions to her family’s Clinton Foundation dried up, and suddenly, most people didn’t care about her anymore.

Things just got a little bleaker as her 17-year run as the most admired woman in America ended. This is the political equivalent to putting an old mare out to pasture.

Gallup released its annual list of the people Americans most admire, and for the first time in a long time, Hillary didn’t take the top spot.

For the first time in 17 years, a woman other than Hillary Clinton has been named by Americans as the woman they admire most. Former first lady Michelle Obama, who finished second to Clinton three times and is currently touring to promote her recently released autobiography, won by a significant margin this year. Oprah Winfrey was second, with Clinton and Melania Trump next.

Hillary actually took a deep dive in the poll, coming in a distant 3rd place:

Michelle Obama – 15%

Oprah Winfrey – 5%

Hillary Clinton – 4%

Melania Trump – 4%

Queen Elizabeth – 2%

Angela Merkel – 2%

Ruth Bader Ginsburg – 2%

Ellen DeGeneres – 2%

Nikki Haley – 1%

Malala Yousafzai – 1%

Nancy Pelosi – 1%

Being in a statistical tie with First Lady Melania Trump has to sting for Hillary, but getting trounced so thoroughly by Michelle Obama probably feels like a sucking chest wound. Despite the fact that they are all Democrats and put on a happy smile for the cameras, it’s said that the Obamas and the Clintons do not like each other.

This is allegedly especially true for Michelle and Hillary. Michelle reportedly never forgave Hillary for all of the nasty things she said about Barack in her failed 2008 presidential bid, and Hillary has always been jealous that people like Michelle more than her.

Making matters worse, this poll appears to be heavily slanted to the left. With Melania Trump and Nikki Haley being the only conservatives to make the list, it seems like most of the respondents were liberals. This is Hillary’s base, and they have turned their back on her.

Though it probably won’t make her feel any better, she did do slightly better than her husband Bill. Of the men most admired, Barack Obama came in 1st with 19%, followed closely by President Trump at 13%. Way down at the bottom, in a tie for last place, is Bill Clinton with only 1% admiring him. Perhaps the #MeToo movement is responsible for Bill’s poor showing.

While this seems like another crushing defeat for Hillary, don’t worry, she’ll have plenty of excuses like she did after her 2016 election loss. Perhaps former FBI head James Comey influenced this poll, costing her the victory she feels she deserved.

The alleged sexism and racism from the “basket of deplorables” must have sunk Hillary as they chose a black woman over her. It’s possible that by ignoring Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, she ruined her chances, but she’ll never admit to that.

Many in Hillary Clinton’s inner-circle have hinted that she will once again run for president in 2020, which would be more disastrous than her two previous failed attempts. She’s dunzo. If the empty seats for her “An Evening with The Clintons” tour doesn’t clue her in that people are sick of her, this poll should do the trick.
