Nancy Suggests Jesus Doesn’t Like ICE Raids, Americans Teach Her A Lesson

Nancy Pelosi is claiming Jesus is not on the side of the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids which happened over the weekend. The 80-year-old Catholic woman declared this as she pointed to yesterday’s Gospel reading about the good Samaritan. Well, immediately Americans taught the Speaker a big lesson proving she is totally wrong about Jesus and the ICE raids. You’ll love this.

Isn’t it rich when pro-abortion advocates like Nancy Pelosi start bringing up Jesus Christ to win a debate? That is exactly what Pelosi did yesterday using the Gospel reading. Every Sunday a portion of the Gospel is read at every Catholic mass. Yesterday, it was the parable of the good Samaritan.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used a parable of Jesus to condemn President Trump’s immigration policy, in a Sunday tweet that also offered illegal immigrants advice if Immigration and Customs Enforcement shows up at their door,” the Washington Examiner reports.

“It should be a sign to us that today’s Catholic Gospel reading is the Good Samaritan, where Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves and treat them with mercy,” the speaker tweeted. “Trump’s ICE raids today tear families apart -the opposite of mercy. #FamiliesBelongTogether #KnowYourRights,” tweeted the Speaker.

The Christian parable of the good Samaritan, found in the Gospel of Luke, was a sermon by Jesus in which he depicted a Jewish man who had been robbed, beaten, and left on the side of the road. Though ignored by several people, the man, at last, was rescued by a Samaritan, with whom the Jews of that time were enemies. The story is considered by scholars and theologians to be an example of love transcending personal prejudice.

Pelosi has been condemned by officials of the Roman Catholic Church, who have asserted that she should be denied Holy Communion because of her support for abortion rights.

“This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin — cooperating with the crime of procured abortion,” Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke said of the speaker’s abortion views in 2013.

“As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this,” Pelosi said of her views on abortion. “I don’t think it should have anything to do with politics.”

Pope Benedict XVI also threw shade at Pelosi when she turned up at the Vatican in 2009 and was dying for a photo op. The Pope told her security detail he refused to be pictured that woman and then rebuked the Speaker’s stance on abortion for over fifteen minutes, reports the Catholic News Agency.

Well, Americans also found Pelosi’s use of Jesus Christ to be abhorrent. They also proved her attempt to politicize this parable was all wrong.

“Jesus said in Matthew 22:21 ‘Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s’ Either we are a Nation of Laws or we arent Madam Speaker. Do we all get to pick and choose which laws we follow?” tweeted Mr. Big Stuff.

“The Bible teaches people are to be treated fairly and justly. It does not teach no repercussions for your actions. Those with deportation orders are being treated justly. Many were given the choice to self deport and did not do so. It’s in your power to change the process,” tweeted “SouthernGalPal.”

“Neighbors are people we love and will do anything for … not invading Red Dawn. I am Catholic and I heard the homily,” tweeted “EdardJ.”

Nancy Pelosi is a fraud in everything she does. You cannot be a “practicing Catholic” and be for abortion. However, Democratic politicians pretend as if the Catholic Church doesn’t teach that or it doesn’t apply to them.

After Pelosi got grilled by Pope Benedict in 2009, he released a statement so everyone would know she is a fraud:

His Holiness took the opportunity to speak of the requirements of the natural moral law and the Church’s consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death which enjoin all Catholics, and especially legislators, jurists and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in co-operation with all men and women of good will in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of its development.

Being pro-abortion is against God’s law as its murder, but Pelosi takes it a step further, says Benedict, by being someone in authority. Therefore, she has a higher duty. Jesus wasn’t political. All He ever said about politics was “render unto Caeser what is Ceaser’s,” which also means follow the law of the land. In severe cases, like Nazi Germany were genocide is going on, you must follow God’s law first. We aren’t talking about genocide. It’s not even close.

We know everyone can be forgiven by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So we should all pray for all of our elected officials. However, we also cannot turn a blind eye to those professing Jesus out of one side of their mouth while they endorse infanticide out of the other side of their mouth.

That’s why the majority of Christians in America voted for President Donald Trump. He may not be perfect, but he promised to support pro-life legislation and put pro-life judges on the Supreme Court. And so far he has kept those promises 100 percent. Pelosi is a fraud. Her party is pro-death, and that’s why Trump will be re-elected in 2020.
