Nevada Gov. Bans Life-Saving Drug Treating COVID-19 To Hurt Trump, Regrets It

Steve Sisolak, the Democrat Governor of Nevada, signed an emergency order barring the use of anti-malaria drugs that have been very successful in treating COVID-19. Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are FDA approved drugs that have been around for over 70 years. This is utter madness, and it’s politically motivated to hurt the president. In fact, many in Nevada could die, and that’s why the Trump-hating Governor was made to regret it. Don’t miss this.

Those in the medical profession were utterly shocked to hear the Governor of Nevada had signed an emergency order to ban chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for patients suffering from COVID-19.

“Nevada’s governor has signed an emergency order barring the use of anti-malaria drugs for someone who has the coronavirus,” Las Vegas Sun reports. “Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak’s order Tuesday restricting chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine comes after President Donald Trump touted the medication as a treatment for the virus.”

This mind-boggling emergency order is unethical and could cost those COVID-19 patients in Nevada their lives.

Dr. Didier Raoult, a noted and well-respected French virologist, treated 20 coronavirus patients with a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. All 20 patients tested negative for the virus within six days.

Dr. Mehmet Oz spoke with Dr. Raoult. “I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Raoult. I was very impressed by him. And I told the vice president today that what he told me at the end of the interview stunned me,” Oz said. “He said that he thought it was unethical to withhold this treatment based on what he knew. Again, this is not a fly by night fella, he’s very well respected.”

In Louisana, the doctors treating COVID-19 have made hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin part of their statewide protocol in treating COVID-19 patients who have moderate to severe symptoms.

So, why would this Nevada Governor ban the use of a drug that has shown success?

Governor Sisolak is a rabid Trump-hater. After the president touted hydroxychloroquine’s success, immediately the Democrats and their media cohorts began a campaign to discredit the anti-malarial drugs. To Sisolak, the most important thing in his political life is to oppose anything the President supports.

In fact, the mainstream media went so far as to report fake news to make Americans believe taking hydroxychloroquine was life-threatening.

An Arizona man died and his wife is in critical condition after they ingested fish cleaner called “chloroquine phosphate.”

Of course, all major media outlets claimed it is President Trump’s fault. “Arizona man dies after attempting to take Trump coronavirus ‘cure,’ ” is the headline at The Guardian. That’s just one example. CNN, MSNBC, and their talking heads all claimed “Trump’s cure” killed a man in Arizona.

This is disgraceful and disgusting, especially when you consider what happened to 52-year-old Rio Giardinieri, who was on death’s door after he contracted COVID-19. He explains from his hospital bed how the anti-malarial drugs saved his life:

Americans are livid at Gov. Sisolak and made sure he knows this was a career-ending move.

“SICK: Nevada Democrat Governor Steve Sisolak barred the use of anti-malarial drugs to cure China Virus These drugs SAVE LIVES A Florida man on his deathbed made a full Coronavirus recovery after taking them Democrats are willing to let people DIE just to oppose Trump RT!” tweeted Charlie Kirk.

Huge mistake. A career politician second-guessing front line doctors and experts. Putting people’s life’s at risk and sowing, even more, fear and panic. @SteveSisolak you are finished here. One and done and it can’t be soon enough. I want my vote back,” tweeted Robert Maddox.

In Texas, we say you just fix stupid and evidently the Governor of Nevada @SteveSisolak is living proof when he does not know the difference between aquarium cleaning fluid and a time tested malaria drug,” tweeted LG 1960.

@SteveSisolak You’re going to be responsible for an awful lot of deaths, Mr. Sisolak. I’m informing every politician I know of your decision to deny chloroquine to the citizens of your state and you can expect the hatred of Nevadans. You’re going to be thrown out on your azz,” tweeted Twitter user “Julia.”

“First, President Trump talked about how taking hydroxychloroquine along with Z-pak has shown to work for coronavirus in some studies… Then, the Nevada Democratic Governor, Steve Sisolak, put out an order RESTRICTING THE USE OF IT! Ask yourself why?” tweeted “Renee.”

Let’s be clear: doctors prescribe drugs all the time for issues and illnesses that may not match what the drug was initially approved for.

This is called utilizing the drug “off label.” For example, the popular allergy medication called Benedryl, also known as diphenhydramine, is used in hospitals for insomnia. The side effect of drowsiness puts many people to sleep, however, that is not the approved use of that drug.

Every medication out there has side effects, and for hydroxychloroquine, it’s prohibited in patients with heart arrhythmias. So, those naysayers who claim we don’t know what side effects hydroxychloroquine may cause in COVID-19 patients, that’s a blatant lie.

Hydroxychloroquine has been around since 1945. We know everything we need to know about how it works and all the side effects. What we don’t know is why it has been successful in treating COVID-19. Studies are being done to fully understand how it works on coronavirus.

But that’s no reason to not prescribe it for coronavirus patients, now. Hydroxychloroquine is a safe drug, and Governor Sisolak is a wicked man who is playing politics with the very citizens who elected him.
