The Minnesota Congresswoman was incensed when a critic accused her of committing adultery. Omar immediately quoted the Quran and called for the Sharia law punishment of flogging the accuser with “80 stripes.” She also praised Allah that Americans are suffering. Well, that’s when her own constituents totally blasted her in ways she won’t soon forget. Don’t miss this.
Ilhan Omar has long denied she is an advocate for Sharia law. Well, she blew her cover. It all started when Omar responded to this post on Twitter: “NEW: Trump says next two weeks in the U.S. will be ‘very painful’ and that he wants ‘every American to be prepared for the days that lie ahead.'”
To that, the 38-year-old Somali refugee said: “Subhanallah!”

That Arabic exclamation was explained by Yasmine Mohammed who wrote: “For those of you unaware, that phrase is said when you’re happy. She is praising Allah. She is praising Allah that Americans will be going through a very painful time. If she were commiserating, she’d say Allah yahmeena (Allah protect us) or Autho billah (I seek refuge w Allah).”

So, with Ilhan Omar praising Allah that Americans are going through a rough time, is it any wonder one of her critics responded to her by tweeting: “Nor come nigh to fornication/adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).” — Qur’an, Sura 17 (Al-Isra), ayat 3.”
They are reminding Omar she has some issues when it comes to her Muslim faith — like allegedly committing adultery.
Instead of letting that go, Omar quickly lost it and called for her accuser to be flogged according to Sharia law.
“And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever. They indeed are the Faasiqoon (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allaah)’ [al-Noor 24:4],” tweeted Ilhan.

The issue here isn’t whether Ilhan Omar committed adultery. The issue is a sitting congresswoman invoked the threat of brutal sharia violence against her critics. It’s an unprecedented move and was met with backlash from the public, including collective leadership of her own community:

You basically are telling them that if they say the truth, about you, they will [be] punished by the sharia law that you are trying to import to our country. It’s important to remember that elected officials are duty-bound to uphold U.S. law — not Islamic law.
Advocating for a medieval penal code fuels and justifies concerns about Sharia integration into American culture, and it’s not an act in service of the American people. We clearly see her true motivations, and it is not missed by Americans outside her own district who enjoy large followings on Twitter.

Omar joined the House of Representatives in January 2019 while seemingly happily married to Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children. But on March 24, less than three months after taking office, Omar was spotted holding hands with Mynett at a restaurant west of Los Angeles, where they were filmed leaving together.
“Despite multiple media reports confirming that Omar had moved out of her Minnesota home with Hirsi and was living with Mynett while in Washington, Omar vehemently denied that she had either left Hirsi or begun to date Mynett. Now, they’re married — so evidently, she was lying,” Washington Examiner reports.
Omar and Mynett were caught living together by the paparazzi. Her adultery was well-documented. The fact she pretends it never happened and calls for critics to be flogged goes to her own mental health. Poor Ilhan. The truth of her life and of her deep-seated hatred of America has come to light, and by far, she is her own worse enemy.
