The former governor of Alaska and ex-GOP VP nominee declared: “I would not prostitute myself” like Kamala Harris. That’s all it took for the leftists to freak out. You’ll love this.
Oh, how the Democrats and their cohorts love to hate Sarah Palin.
Appearing with Tucker Carlson ahead of Harris’ big speech on night three of the Democratic National Convention, Palin predicted that “the media” would treat the Democratic ticket like “delicate pieces of China” compared to the way she was treated in 2008 when she was running with John McCain on the Republican ticket.
“Looking back, is there anything you could have done to get the kind of coverage that Kamala Harris is getting now?” Carlson asked. “Like you care about equality deep within your soul, that you’re a rockstar, a celebrity, you’re the Dalai Lama reincarnated. Could you have done anything to get that kind of coverage?”
“I would not have prostituted myself in terms of changing any of my positions in order to garner better press,” Palin said with a little smirk on her face.
Palin insisted that she would have “gotten a lot better coverage” if she “compromised my convictions,” the way she implied Harris did.
“Remember, these Democrat candidates, they are treated as delicate pieces of china whereas someone like me, and other kinds of hardcore common constitutional conservatives, we’re more like the bull in the china shop,” Palin said.
And she is correct. Imagine if President Donald Trump would not take questions from the press and campaigned from his basement the way democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has.
The media would have a field day mocking him, calling him unfit, and chastising him for avoiding them.
“I think that those who are just really, really close philosophically, even with politicians and those in the media, the media is going to treat them with some kid gloves.” she added.
Palin said that media does the “complete opposite treatment when it comes to the different philosophies.”
“I would’ve gotten a lot better coverage had I compromised my convictions, had I decided that I was going to go with the flow in order to get that … liberal coverage that would have been so much better,” she said.
It should be noted that Sarah Palin had the bona fides to be considered for the position of vice-president. She had governed one of the biggest states in Alaska. To get that position, Palin had taken on the establishment GOP, mostly made of men, and kicked their butts. Kamala Harris has only been a senator since 2016. She has never run a business, let alone a state.
Regardless, the leftists kicked into high gear to do what they do best: bash Sarah Palin.
The leftwing Daily Beast claimed Palin was following Tucker Carlson’s lead to “spread a sexist smear” against Kamala Harris. Being water-carriers for the Democrats, the Daily Beast refused to name the man who helped Kamala Harris launch her political career: Wille Brown.
“Palin’s comments come shortly after Carlson used his show to spread a sexist smear against Harris that she used a relationship with an older politician to further her own career,” they reported.
They also claimed the 29-year-old Kamala Harris having an affair with the 60-year-old Willie Brown was a big nothing-burger.
“For a brief time in the mid-1990s, Harris and Brown dated. And despite Carlson’s insinuation, Brown had already been separated from his wife,” Daily Beast claims.
Most conservatives know, up until she got together with Brown, Kamala Harris was just a prosecutor. At 29, Harris wanted more and set her sights on Brown, who was called at the time: “The most powerful politician in California.”
“Kamala Harris’ first significant political role was an appointment by her powerful then-boyfriend Willie Brown, three decades her senior, to a California medical board that has been criticized as a landing spot for patronage jobs and kickbacks,” Washington Examiner reports.
In fact, Harris left her job as a deputy prosecutor at the district attorney’s office in Alameda County, to join this board with old-timers who were all there in a scam to enrich themselves and rarely attended the meetings. In essence, there was no job, it was just a money scheme.
The position paid over $70,000 per year, $120,700 in current money.
The job required the board members to meet twice a month and Kamala couldn’t even do that. Harris missed about 20 percent of the meetings each year, according to commission records obtained by the Washington Examiner.
Ole Willie kept doing Kamala’s bidding. Brown used his political capital as the state’s most powerful politician to launch Harris’ foray into politics, supporting her successful 2003 campaign for San Francisco District Attorney.
Harris then ran for the Senate and won in 2016. That’s the total of her experience, and the Democrats are lining her up to take over the presidency from Biden if he becomes unfit for office.
If it wasn’t for having an affair with Willie Brown, Kamala Harris would not be where she is today: as the Democrat VP nominee. Those are the facts. So, the leftists can cry all they want and accuse people of “sexist smears.”
However, we bet Americans will reject making her the first woman to achieve one of the highest offices in the land, a woman who only got there by having a strategic and calculated sexual relationship. It should be a woman with morals and ethics who really is qualified to be one heartbeat away from the presidency.
