Pelosi Blocks Senate Rescue Bill In Under 3 Minutes Over ‘Ballot-Harvesting’

Nancy Pelosi sees no urgency to help Americans who are suffering due to the coronavirus and the economic fallout. Late Tuesday night, the Senate finally passed the COVID-19 rescue bill. Great news, right? Wrong. The House Speaker blocked the legislation in under three minutes on Wednesday morning. That’s right. Pelosi is holding out for “ballot harvesting,” also known as “voter fraud.” Americans are livid. Don’t miss this.

Now is not the time to play politics. Day after day, our economy is shut down and will soon lead to a total economic collapse. Nancy Pelosi couldn’t care less. Instead of doing the job she was elected to do at this time of crisis, the House Speaker blocked the rescue bill in under three minutes.

In a statement issued Tuesday night, Pelosi said merely that “House Democrats will now review the final provisions and legislative text of the agreement to determine a course of action,” but she stopped short of committing to bring the hard-fought bill.

“The bill which was negotiated over the course of five days, in two rounds — one over the weekend and one in session Monday and Tuesday — to the floor of the House for a vote, leaving the legislation, which could mean economic survival for millions impacted by coronavirus lockdowns, in limbo,” Daily Wire reports.

But Wednesday morning, as the House gaveled into session, it suddenly became clear that Pelosi did not intend to have House members review the bill; the House went in and out of session in just under three minutes.

“House was in this morning at 10 a.m. and 42 seconds. Out at 10:02 and 37 seconds No business of note. No resignations, etc. Back in tomorrow at 11 a.m.,” Politico’s Jake Sherman reported Wednesday morning:

It was quickly discovered that “ballot harvesting” was causing Nancy Pelosi to block the vote today.

“This is what @SpeakerPelosi and the #Dems want in the #coronavirus ‘stimulus’ package: Institutionalized ballot harvesting (i.e. voter fraud),” tweeted GOP Florida State Rep. Blaise Ingoglia.

“What the hell is this. Part Four,” Fox News contributor Dan Bongino said pointing out Pelosi’s version of the bill that includes ballot harvesting.

Meanwhile, some Americans are going without pay. Many have already lost their jobs.

So, what is so important about “ballot harvesting” that caused Pelosi to walk away from doing the right thing?

“Ballot harvesting” was legalized in California in 2016, and first used in the 2018 midterm elections. It allows anyone to drop off someone else’s mail-in ballot at a polling station. There is no process for vetting or verifying those delivering the ballots — no background checks or identification requirements. Democrats dropped hundreds of thousands of ballots off at polling stations in 2018, helping Democrats as they flipped seven Republican seats.

The practice is illegal in most other states, largely because it is susceptible to fraud and intimidation. Republicans were caught flat-footed in 2018; they experimented with the tactic in recent special elections, only to find that their voters adamantly refuse to give their ballots to strangers.

Pelosi’s bill, released Monday afternoon, provides that every state:

A) shall permit a voter to designate any person to return a voted and sealed absentee ballot to the post office, a ballot drop-off location, tribally designated building, or election office so long as the person designated to return the ballot does not receive any form of compensation based on the number of ballots that the person has returned and no individual, group, or organization provides compensation on this basis; and (B) may not put any limit on how many voted and sealed absentee ballots any designated person can return to the post office, a ballot drop off location, tribally designated building, or election office.

“In other words, paid party operatives can literally truck thousands and thousands of ballots to the polls, provided they earn a salary or fee, and are not paid by the ballot,” Joel Pollack reports via Breitbart.

“It is a practice that is known in Third World countries as ‘ballot stuffing,’ and is outlawed in every democracy, no matter how poor — even in countries where the physical and administrative obstacles to voting are far greater than in the world’s most developed economy,” Pollack adds.

And it is Pelosi’s condition for saving the U.S. economy from coronavirus.

Well, Americans are livid. “Ballot harvesting” was not part of the Senate bill, and that’s why the Speaker quickly stopped the House from proceeding on Wednesday morning. Harmeet Dillion, an attorney who is part of Trump’s campaign, was also warning Americans.

“I’m glad to report that this horror show of an ‘election reform’ package didn’t make it into the bill. But watch out for Dems to try it again. They are laser-focused on gutting election integrity in order to win because their ideas and candidates alone fail,” she said.

Pelosi will have to come to the table on Thursday. That’s why it is imperative all Americans get this information before it’s too late. If we can make enough noise and call out Nancy and her cohorts dirty dealings, she’ll be forced to pass the Senate bill as is. It’s a sad state of affairs when citizens can’t trust their elected officials to do the right thing, especially during a national emergency.
