Pelosi: Trump’s Executive Orders Are ‘Absurdly Unconstitutional’ — Regrets It

Nancy Pelosi, who is valued as an astute political player, got outplayed by President Donald Trump over the weekend. After Pelosi attempted to hold Congress hostage to sign her three-trillion-dollar pork-filled stimulus package, Trump outmaneuvered her, big time, with stunning executive orders. Now, Nancy is claiming that Trump’s orders are unconstitutional. She was made to regret it. You’ll love this.

You don’t have to be a political analyst to know the president’s executive orders over the weekend are nothing less than pure gold. Trump bypassed Pelosi altogether and made executive orders that make the Democrats look like utter fools.

Trump checked every box Americans care about right now. He even checks the boxes that Democrats have been trying to make campaign issues. It was truly brilliant.

“On Saturday, Trump bypassed Congress and asserted his executive powers by signing four actions on coronavirus relief after Democrats and the White House were unable to reach an agreement on a stimulus bill,” CNN reports.

Trump signed an executive order for a payroll tax holiday at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Saturday.

“The very important thing is that people want it, and the people need it, actually,” Trump said, noting that Republicans and Democrats in Congress could not reach a deal.

The president said that the payroll tax holiday would apply to Americans earning less than $100,000 a year.

Trump added that he might even “terminate” the tax or make permanent changes. A group of supporters joined the president at his press conference announcing the news and cheered as the president signed the orders.

“If I am victorious on November 3, I plan to forgive these taxes and make permanent cuts to the payroll tax,” he said.

“Biden probably won’t be doing that. You’ll have to ask him. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing,” he said, as his supporters chuckled.

The president also said he would provide a federal unemployment enhancement of $400 per week but that states would pay for 25 percent of the cost. He also signed an extension of the moratorium on evictions and deferred student loan payments.

Student loan deferment is something Bernie Sanders supporters will embrace. It gives them a very good reason to vote for Trump over Joe Biden, who most of them truly hate. Nancy Pelosi knew Trump had used her belief in her own political capital to his ultimate advantage.

Trump said he had to act on his own after negotiations with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ground to a halt.

“The Democrats have obstructed people from getting desperately needed help,” Trump said.

How can the Democrats argue that Trump’s order is bad? Poor Nancy gave it a shot on CNN.

“Everything is left out — our assistance to the schools, feeding the hungry, helping people who are going to be evicted,” Pelosi claimed. “Something’s wrong. Either the president doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Clearly, his aides don’t know what he is talking about, or something’s very wrong here about meeting the needs of the American people at this time.”

“Right now, we want to address the needs of the American people,” Pelosi added. “As my constitutional advisers tell me, they’re absurdly unconstitutional. Gut right now our focus —and that’s a parallel thing—right now the focus, the priority, has to be on, again, meeting the needs of the American people sufficiently allocating resources to send children to school, not threatening schools that if they don’t have actual attendance, they won’t get the federal dollars.”

Schools that remain closed shouldn’t need federal funds. The radical leftwing teacher’s unions are out of control.

You have to shake your head. What’s wrong is that Nancy and her Democrat cohorts just got their backsides handed to them by Trump. In fact, many Americans reminded Pelosi that executive orders were Barack Obama’s go-to mechanism. And what part of Trump’s orders hurt the American people?

Patriots blasted Nancy on social media.

“Once again President Trump has come to the rescue and his genius fixes what Democrats break and want to stay broken. @SpeakerPelosi,” tweeted Twitter user “GBigs Angle.”

“Pelosi: Trump’s Executive Orders Are ‘Absurdly Unconstitutional’ tell this to Obama after Obamacare and all the other Orders as if the Left cares about the First and Second Amendment #theLeftisaMentslIlness,” tweeted Twitter user “Wobblewalker.”

“So is never letting a crisis go to waste in order to achieve a political agenda at the expense of the country, Nan,” tweeted “Dean.”

“Quick and effective help for citizens Instead of selfish election campaign politics. Democrats are harmful to the American people,” tweeted “Myerikd.”

“@SpeakerPelosi is mad that the President sidestepped her stonewalling…Thank you @POTUS!!!” tweeted “504girl.”

“B*tch was OK with Obama doing DACA for illegals by [executive order] but not with Trump doing DO for Americans! #PissoffPelosi,” tweeted “The Head Jerk.”

Nancy is so delusional, she is still pushing for her trillion-dollar pork-filled plan.

Asked if Democrats were willing to continue to keep negotiating a coronavirus relief bill, Pelosi told Bash on Sunday, “Well, we have to. We have to, and that’s why we were willing to say we’ll come down a trillion.”

Oh, she’ll come down a trillion? You have to laugh. Pelosi is so desperate to use this crisis to fund her leftwing benefactors. Nancy’s costly stimulus package would direct funds to mail-in voting, the “Arts” like the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and require airlines to purchase expensive “renewable” jet fuel.

Thank God for President Trump. Executive orders are not all made the same. The Democrats dared to bluff in order to send millions to their buddies, and the president had no choice but to take matters into his own hands.
