Romney: ‘Religion’ Why He Convicted Trump, ‘Sore Loser’ To Be Expelled From GOP

Mitt Romney is in a heap of trouble after he voted to convict President Donald Trump on one article of impeachment. The Utah Senator cited his “deep faith” and his “religious convictions” as reasons why he had to vote to convict the president. Well, his dirty deeds are coming back to haunt him. The “sore loser” is about to be expelled from the Republican Party. You’ll love this.

Mitt Romney is the epitome of a swamp creature. Early in his political career, he styled himself as a liberal to get elected in Massachusetts. His track record as a flip-flopper speaks for itself.

He was pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-taxes, and pro-climate change.

However, the minute he started seeking the GOP presidential nomination, Romney changed his leftist position on every one of those issues. This isn’t a man guided by some altruistic sense to do the right thing. He is a political animal who would sell his own mother if he thought it would get him votes.

In fact, Romney’s investment firm Bain Capital profited billions between 1992 and 1997 by collecting huge dividends for investors that eventually resulted in layoffs for thousands of American workers.

In 1984, Romney helped co-found Bain Capital, which made a series of investments, in small and medium-sized American companies, only to turn a profit for investors and leave American workers without a job.

Most prominent are five companies that Romney’s Bain Capital invested in, reaping a profit for himself and investors, and then left to bankruptcy, layoffs, and closure. AOL Finance reported in 2012 on the financial devastation that Romney’s Bain Capital put American workers through.

“In 1992, Romney’s Bain Capital invested $5 million in American Pad & Paper and walked away with $100 million in dividends. Nearly 400 American workers in Marion, Indiana, were laid off in the process, and in 2000, the small company filed for bankruptcy,” Breitbart reports.

Romney is not guided by his so-called “religious convictions.” He is a two-bit back-stabber and is only guided by what is best for Mitt.

“I am profoundly religious. My faith is at the heart of who I am,” Romney stated in his prepared remarks as he explained why he was voting to convict President Trump. “I take an oath before God as enormously consequential.”

On Fox News, he quoted a famous hymn from the Mormon Church: “Do what is right; let the consequence follow.” He cited Latter-day Saint scripture to The Atlantic: “Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good.”

His vote, he said, was the result of an “inescapable conviction” dictated by “my oath before God.”

The Utah Senator is really relishing his newfound fame with the mainstream media. He is making the rounds with the leftist press milking every drop of praise he can get for his impeachment vote. He is also refusing to endorse Trump for president, which means he will either not vote for anyone or vote for the Democrat nominee.

Now, poor Mitt is about to be expelled from the Republican Party.

“Republican Party leaders, GOP congressmen, and former White House officials called Wednesday for the GOP to expel Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) for his decision to vote to convict President Donald Trump during the impeachment trial,” Breitbart reports.

President Trump led the charge to expose Romney as a swamp creature in light of the mainstream media heaping praise and adoration as a “man of conscience.”

First, the president tweeted out this video which informs Americans about Mitt’s dirty deeds. It shows Romney “posing as a Republican as he tried to infiltrate Trump’s administration.” The failed presidential candidate badly wanted to become Trump’s secretary of state.

Romney never got over the president denying him the coveted role of secretary of state.

It also shows Mitt praising the president and thanking him for his endorsement for senator. When Mitt needed Trump to win his senatorial race, the Utah Senator was touting the president’s accomplishments.

Then, Trump tweeted: “Had failed presidential candidate @MittRomney devoted the same energy and anger to defeating a faltering Barack Obama as he sanctimoniously does to me, he could have won the election. Read the Transcripts!”

Mitt Romney is forever bitter that he will never be POTUS. He was too weak to beat the Democrats then so he’s joining them now. He’s now officially a member of the resistance & should be expelled from the @GOP,” tweeted Donald Trump Jr.

“Mitt Romney absolutely despises that Donald Trump was elected POTUS & he was not. The sore loser mentality launched this sham impeachment & corruptly rigged & jammed it through the House. It looks like Schiff recruited himself a sore loser buddy on the GOP side to play along,” tweeted Rep. Lee Zeldin.

Rep. Louie Gohmert was making his feelings clear about Romney. While appearing on Fox News, the Texas Representative wore a big button saying “Quit Mitt.”

Mitt Romney is a swamp creature, and now he has angered the entire Republican Party. When he became the GOP nominee for president, many conservatives held their noses and went to bat for him.

One of those who backed Romeny in 2012 was Laura Ingraham. On her Fox News show last night, she was livid.

“We thought you’d be better for America and the way you repay millions of people, the millions who did vote for you in 2012 is to throw in with the very people who don’t share our goals, who hate us. And by the way, who still hate you,” the Fox News host said.

“Like all the other bitter ‘Never Trumpers’, he’d rather see the entire American economy go down the drain than give Trump a victory,” Ingraham said.

“Mitt, you made your stand. Now you should resign. You committed a fraud on the people of Utah, on the Republican Party, on the Constitution, and a thoroughly embarrassed yourself,” Ingraham said. “If I have to move there to run against him in four and a half years, I will.”

Mitt Romney has sealed his fate. He burned too many bridges. It’s time he does the right thing and be true to who he really is—a swamp creature. It’s time to join the haters of the American people and the America first agenda. It’s time for Mitt to become a full-fledged member of the Democrat Party,  joining his comrades in arms Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, and Ilhan Omar.
