During Tuesday’s broadcast of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, network host Al Sharpton shared his reaction to a video of President Donald Trump appearing to conduct the orchestra during the singing of the national anthem before Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

Sharpton called Trump’s behavior “unpatriotic” and compared it to former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s anthem protests, for which the quarterback-turned-activist has received criticism from the president.
“You’ve got to go back to that Trump mocking the national anthem because for those of us that stood by the right of Kaepernick to take a knee, Kaepernick did not mock the national anthem. This was a mockery,” Sharpton declared. “This is acting like it was composed for [him], and I think it was unpatriotic for the President of the United States to act like this was some composition that he could exploit rather than respect.”
He added, “[F]or him to criticize Kaepernick and him to do that shows the ultimate hypocrisy.”

This take on Trump’s actions is utterly ridiculous.
No president or world lead is perfect, but to accuse President Donald Trump of “unpatriotic” behavior has got to be one of the biggest jokes these Trump-haters have come up with so far. By the leftist media’s own accounts, the reason they despise Trump is for his America first policies.
They hate him for rejecting globalism in favor of making American great again. His entire presidency thus far has been focused on undoing the Obama administration’s regulations and policies that put America beholden to other world powers.
Trump has made America the biggest exporters of energy. We no longer have to rely on any other country, we are self-sufficient. He pulled us out of the Paris Accord which was just a boondoggle that sent American taxpayer funds to prop up the globalists bogus climate change initiatives.
Trump was at a private event, and his actions show his love of the national anthem — if anything. Kapernick’s sick stunts in front of a live TV audience were as a representative of the National Football League where he decided to “take a knee,” which is the same thing as spitting at the flag.
Calling Trump “unpatriotic” is like calling Bernie Sanders a “capitalist,” and that’s why Americans torched Al Sharpton.

Sharpton is so dirty that last November he was caught taking $1 million dollars from his own charity.
Al Sharpton received more than $1 million from the National Action Network (NAN) in 2018, tax filings reportedly show. Sharpton was paid $1,046,948 by the non-profit, and he also got “a $324,000 salary — 32% higher than his 2017 pay — in addition to a $159,596 bonus and $563,352 in ‘other compensation,’” according to the New York Post.
The reverend also claimed that, like anyone else, he deserved the raise.
“It’s a six-day-a-week job and several hours a day and when [the compensation firm] compared it to other companies, other nonprofits, that’s the salary that they would get,” he said.
Despite his recent pay raise, Sharpton reportedly still owes $698,470.99 in back taxes to the state of New York for three of his companies, according to the Post. So, please excuse those of us who only see a fraudster and a scammer when we look at the “Reverend Al.” He would clearly sell out his own mother if it could benefit him in any way, shape, or form.
