President Donald Trump is on a roll draining the swamp. Last week it was Lt. Col. Alexander Vindamn who was escorted out of the White House, and Trump followed that up by firing 70 more Obama-holdovers. Well, that is freaking out the Democrats. Chuck Schumer went nuts calling on all “74 inspector generals” to launch “investigations” into the mass firing. Well, that’s when poor Chucky got torched. You’ll love this.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Monday called on the nation’s 74 federal inspectors general (IGs) to protect whistleblowers from retaliation as President Donald Trump began purging Obama-era holdovers and other officials from his National Security Council (NSC).

IGs are internal government watchdogs who are expected to operate independently of political leadership in government.

Schumer’s call on Monday came in the wake of Trump’s decision last Friday to remove and reassign Lt. Col. Alex Vindman away from the White House where he would not have access to sensitive classified information.

Make no mistake, this is just a precursor to his firing.

When certain officials are going to be fired, they are many times downgraded and reassigned as an investigation goes on. Vindman is suspected as being the second “so-called Ukraine whistleblower,” so it makes sense he was removed but not yet fired as an investigation into his actions goes on.

Last Friday, Trump fired the NSC staffer’s twin brother — Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman — who served as a senior lawyer and ethics official for the NSC.

Which brings us to Chuck Schumer freaking out.

In a statement issued Monday, Senate Democrats noted that Schumer, following Trump’s dismissal of the Vindman twins from the NSC, “sent letters to the Department of Defense Acting Inspector General Glenn Fine and all other federal inspectors general calling on each to take immediate steps to ensure all federal employees who blow the whistle on presidential misconduct are protected from retaliation.”

Schumer wrote in the letter sent to Department of Defense (DOD) IG Glenn Fine on Monday accusing Trump of “viciously” attacking Alex Vindman after the lieutenant colonel “bravely” stepped forward to “tell the truth” during the Democrat-controlled House’s recent impeachment inquiry.

This comes on the heels of a Washington Examiner editorial that revealed Trump is doubling down on White House staff dismissals. The removals are much bigger than just the Vindman twins, the Examiner noted, adding:

President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staff, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council.

Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama, who had fattened the staff to 200.

Poor Chucky can’t stand the president draining the swamp. Americans torched him for demanding more worthless, inappropriate investigations.

“The Do-Nothing Democrats have no interest in actually working for the things working-class Americans care about. It’s all phony ‘investigations’ all the time,” tweeted Mark Grant.

“Ground hog day…..” tweeted Nadine Calcara, noting it’s like Deja Vu—all the Democrats do is investigations thinking they’ll get a different outcome.

“Chuck U Schumer prances around as if hes President and can’t wait to get in front of Fake News Cameras. Now the Dancing clown wants an investigation into the Obama Holdovers that Trump Fired. Schumer is A Loser!” tweeted “John Kiss My Bot.”

“Those people that were released were there at the pleasure of the President and he has every right to let them go. None of them were elected to office,” tweeted Citizen Patriot.

“The proper response to Schumer is ‘Mind your own business.’ Under some gross overreach of authority, Schumer has made a horrific error about his authority in this instance. These people are no more under his purview than Schumer’s staff is under Trump’s control,” tweeted Chris Maddix.

“This is insane! Get a life Schumer seriously. They must be sh*tting their pants because they are all about to be exposed for the traitors they are…trying to overthrow our President. I’ve had enough of it. Who the hell do the Vindmans think they are?” tweeted “MagaMarie.”

There are whistleblower laws in place to protect federal employees who report wrongdoing within the government and assist Congress with its oversight role.

Some news outlets have asserted that the so-called “whistleblower” who triggered the impeachment against Trump is a partisan CIA officer. The leaker likely broke the law by allegedly sharing his complaint with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s (R-CA) office before the intelligence community’s IG.

Schumer is grasping at straws and he looks weak. With the Democrat Party imploding and having spent three years doing endless investigations trying to oust Trump, poor Chucky knows all he can do is keep on projecting the lie that the president is evil. The Democrats made their bed, now they will have to face having to lie down in it. All we can say is it couldn’t have happened to more deserving people.
