Col Alexander Vindman last week, the president has followed that up with throwing 70 more Obama-holdovers out of the White House. The Democrats and their cohorts are freaking out claiming these poor holdovers are “holocaust victims.” You don’t want to miss this.
President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staff, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council.
“Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama, who had fattened the staff to 200,” Washington Examiner reports. “Many were loaners from other agencies and have been sent back. Others left government work.”
The NSC, which is the president’s personal staff, was rocked when a “whistleblower” leveled charges that led to Trump’s impeachment. The president blasted the media for making wild accusations about Vindman’s firing:

In other words, ‘OUT,'” tweeted President Trump.

Vindman was by all indications the so-called “second whistleblower” and the main antagonist in starting the entire Ukrain hoax that led to impeachment.
So, why would anyone in their right minds question Trump throwing out 70 others who were also Obama-holdovers working with Vindman? This is the National Security Council, and the president has a duty to make sure everyone working on it is loyal to his foreign policy vision.
Nancy Pelosi blasted Trump calling his firing “shameful” and a “brazen act of retaliation.” She also unleashed her Lawfare buddies to attack the president.
“Lawfare’s Benjamin Wittes, one of Pelosi’s attack dogs, took to Twitter this weekend to pen a transcendently nonsensical thread comparing the firing of a handful of bureaucrats to the rounding up of political undesirables in the lead-up to the Holocaust,” National Review reports.
“It wouldn’t be a huge deal, except that this kind of hysterical reaction has now been normalized in American discourse, illustrating that once-rational people have either lost all sense of history or are willing to belittle the past for short-term political gain. My bet is on the latter,” National Review adds.
This Lawfare guy, Benjamin Wittes, also worked for Nancy Pelosi in cooking up the entire impeachment sham. He also had the audacity to defend Lisa Page and Peter Strzok in this Twitter rant: “Then he came for @NatSecLisa and @petestrzok and I said nothing because they sent text messages and the president and Fox News kept reminding me that they had an affair.”

Wittes, who is also a proud Never Trumper, claims Strzok and Page were fired for having an affair? Wow. Did this guy fail to read their text messages? They basically outlined the coup attempt with the now-infamous “insurance policy” tweet. They also had a heavy disdain for Trump and his “smelly” Walmart supporters.

Claiming those whom Trump fires are Holocaust victims goes way too far:
“It might come as a surprise to those who, through hyperbole, demean the real victims of history, but Nazi Germany didn’t hold impeachment hearings for their leaders in 1938, there was no institutional anti-Hitler media in 1939, and most people in 1940 did not publicly accuse Hitler of being a seditious criminal and madman. Those who did, such as Martin Niemöller, ended up in Sachsenhausen and Dachau, not the green room at CNN,” David Harsanyi wrote via National Review.
President Trump had an unprecedented issue when he took office. He had never been a politician and therefore had no one inside the Washington D.C. machine who he could trust. This is why many of those mid-level Obama appointments stayed.
Trump literally did not have a vast team to fill all the positions. Sadly, this led to those Obama-holdovers staying. Now, after three years, the president has the lay of the land. He is getting rid of the dead weight and traitors in his midst…he is draining the swamp. This is causing the swamp rats to panic and with four more years, there won’t be many places left to hide.
