It must have slipped Goldberg’s mind that Barack Obama gave out over 100, mostly to his Hollywood buddies. Well, that’s when poor Whoopi got blasted for her ignorant remarks. Don’t miss this.
Whoopi Goldberg claimed Wednesday that talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh did not deserve the Presidential Medal of Freedom because it was “for people who actually did stuff.”
Goldberg made the comments on ABC’s “The View,” responding to President Donald Trump’s surprise decision to give Limbaugh the award on the spot at the State of the Union address Tuesday night.
“I don’t understand — now, you know, I am very sorry that Rush is ill because you never want to wish bad stuff on people. He has stage four cancer,” Goldberg began. “But I’m sorry, I thought that the Medal of Honor —”
“Freedom,” Meghan McCain corrected.
“Freedom,” Goldberg repeated. “Was supposed to go to people who actually did stuff.”
“It went to Mother Teresa and Rosa Parks,” Joy Behar added.
Guest host Alec Baldwin interrupted, joking, “I decided I want to run for president so I can give the medal of freedom to Louis C.K. Thank you by the way. The producer got that.”
“I didn’t understand. You got a Tuskegee Airman sitting there,” Goldberg continued, referencing 100-year-old Charles McGee, who Trump honored Tuesday by promoting him to brigadier general.
“Right next to him, same row,” Sunny Hostin added.
“How about if you’re going to give the Medal of Freedom to someone who actually has made differences in the country and done all kinds of stuff, how about giving it to Elijah Cummings’ wife as a thank you for all of his service?” Goldberg asked.
“Because he’s playing to his base and Rush Limbaugh — I used to work in radio and I actually worked underneath — I was behind Sean Hannity on the radio show I hosted,” McCain remarked showing her Never Trumper sentiments.
“Rush was first. He has 30, three zero, million listeners a day, which is actually … to put it in perspective this show averages around 3. The amount of influence he has, especially with conservatives … he changed the paradigm of radio,” McCain added.
Hostin and Behar went on to attack Limbaugh, calling him racist and misogynistic and “a longtime birther.” Behar also called out first lady Melania Trump, who actually put the medal around Limbaugh’s neck, calling her a birther as well.
These shrews seem to forget who their “anointed one” Barack Obama awarded the Medal of Freedom to during his eight years. Obama was handing those medals out like candy for all of his buddies in the Hollywood crowd.
Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Ellen Degeneres, Saturday Night Live’s producer Lorne Micheals, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, and Steven Spielberg all happily received the honor from Obama.
Just what “stuff” did they do to deserve it?
At least Rush Limbaugh has raised approximately $100 million dollars for his charities, including veterans and their families, and leukemia society over 30 years. That’s the kind of “stuff” he has done. Whoopi and her band of haters make most Americans sick.
Well, Americans are outraged at Whoopi’s hate-filled remarks, and they blasted her badly on social media.

Barack Obama gave out the medal to 123 Americans, and his choices had everything to do with keeping his Hollywood buddies happy and nothing to do with “deserving it.”
Last year, Rush gave a speech where he defined the modern conservative movement he helped create:
When we look out over the United States of America, when we are anywhere, when we see a group of people, such as this or anywhere, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don’t see groups. We don’t see victims. We don’t see people we want to exploit. What we see — what we see is potential. We do not look out across the country and see the average American, the person that makes this country work. We do not see that person with contempt. We don’t think that person doesn’t have what it takes. We believe that person can be the best he or she wants to be if certain things are just removed from their path like onerous taxes, regulations and too much government.
He has headed up “Tunnels to Towers” charity which benefits our veterans their families. Over the years, he personally has donated millions of dollars, but it’s difficult to pinpoint since he refuses to make anything about himself. By any standards, Rush Limbaugh deserves the Medal of Freedom. He created a talk radio platform that is now used by countless Americans.
Let Whoopi and her jealous band of haters hate, it only proves just how contemptible leftists are. We don’t need the approval of those who see America as something to be despised.
