Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was providing comedy relief for many after she started complaining about all the hardships she endured as a “waitress.” The New York Congresswoman also added that Republicans would be “crying” if they had to handle the type of work she did. Well, that’s when Candace Owens and Sarah Palin totally torched poor AOC and gave her an education about the work most Americans do every day.
With all the anxiety over the presidential election, we have to thank AOC for providing momentary comedy relief. The former waitress and bartender turned Democrat darling uses social media as a public therapy session.
“Republicans like to make fun of the fact that I used to be a waitress,” AOC posted. “[B]ut we all know if they ever had to do a double they’d be the ones found crying in the walk-in fridge halfway through their first shift bc someone yelled at them for bringing seltzer when they wanted sparkling.”

Oh, poor AOC. We really don’t know how she endures all the hardships of being a Congresswoman. According to her tweet, she got her feelings hurt by “Republicans” who made fun of her previous job as a waitress.
She was working as a bartender when she got elected, something she doubts Republicans could handle.
“Ocasio-Cortez’s victory is even more stunning considering that less than a year ago, she was working as a bartender at a restaurant in New York City’s Union Square,” Bussiness Insider reported in 2018.
Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel was gushing over AOC’s rags to riches story:
“One year ago, @Ocasio2018 was working at a craft cocktail bar in Manhattan — their website still has an image of her mixing drinks. From the bar, to destroying the Queens Democratic machine, in one year,” he tweeted with a pic of AOC bartending.

AOC did not grow up facing hardships like so many other Americans. She attempted to gaslight Americans with a “hardscrabble biography” that claimed she grew up “in the Bronx” and that her family struggled to find good schools.
The Daily Mail uncovered in 2018 that her father was a landowner and CEO.
“Her father, who tragically died from lung cancer in 2008, was an architect and the CEO of Kirschenbaum & Ocasio-Roman Architects, PC, which focused on remodeling and renovations,” Daily Mail adds.
AOC’s daddy was a CEO, and she is just a spoiled brat.
That brings us to Sarah Palin and Candace Owens who enjoyed putting the former bartender in her place.
“nar·cis·sist /ˈnärsəsəst/ @AOC Listen sweetie, you know how many of us waitressed through high school to save up for college? Then waitressed and blue-collared throughout to get our degrees? You know how many hard-working, selfless American workers cont to do so?” Palin replied to AOC.
“With babies to care for, elderly parents to tend to, businesses to run, voluntarily helping others, working second- and third jobs, etc without whining and drawing the self-attention for which you’re known?” The former governor of Alaska added.

Candace Owens also had something to say about AOC’s public whine-fest.
“I used to be a waitress and I worked multiple doubles. I am laughing out loud at how much of a coastal elitist you have to be to view that as the definition of a hard day at work. Please get on a plane and see the rest of the world (or country) you spoiled rotten brat,” Owens posted.
“And then he sent his French fries back THREE times! Republicans could NEVER handle that,” the conservative firebrand mockingly added.

Ocasio-Cortez is supposed to be this modern politician who is the future of the Democratic Party.
How much more out of touch with the realities of so many Americans can she get? If AOC was truly this political trailblazer, then she would know that the main reason the Democrats were trounced in congressional races in the 2020 election lies with the blue-collar workers — the men and women who are working two to three jobs while trying to make ends meet.
Those blue-collar workers voted for President Trump and his allies in congressional races. AOC is alienating the majority of the American workforce with her junior high school posts about “hurt feelings.”
All we can do is shake our heads and laugh at the blatant ignorance of this woman who actually got a degree from Boston University. This just goes to show you, getting a degree has nothing to do with having common sense or intelligence.
