The 80-year-old Congresswoman was screeching all weekend about President Donald Trump’s proposed tariffs on Mexico, saying that he was just bluffing and that it would never work. Well, her predictions completely backfired, and that’s when she got torched. You’ll love this.
Maxine Waters went out on a limb to declare President Trump was faking his resolve to go through with tariffs on Mexico if they refused to stem the tide of illegal immigrants on their side of the border. It all fell apart for Mad Maxine Friday night when the president made an announcement that his tariff threat had been successful.
“I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico,” Trump tweeted Friday. “The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended,” Trump tweeted.
He added: “Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border,” he continued. “This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States.”

The agreement should reduce the number of illegals pouring through the southern border, at least in part. The agreement effectively ends catch-and-release. Instead, migrants will be returned to Mexico while they wait out their asylum claims, which should in effect discourage migrants from illegally entering the United States with children.
Additionally, Mexico agreed to take “unprecedented steps” to combat lawless migration, in part by deployment of the National Guard throughout Mexico, “giving priority to its southern border,” as well as taking swift action against human smuggling and trafficking organizations and their networks, Breitbart reported.
Well, this was bad news for the 80-year-old Congresswoman best known for screaming “Impeach 45!” You see, Waters spent most of the day running around telling anyone who would listen that Trump can’t be trusted, he’s bluffing, and there’s no way the Commander in Chief will ever make Mexico do anything.
She also went on the record, tweeting: “Spineless GOP Senators grew a backbone this week & finally stood up to their Dictator Trump on something: Mexico tariffs, also known as a TAX INCREASE on American consumers. Bet your bottom dollar, Trump will back off by the weekend. Just another bluff!”

She then followed that up with: “If Trump’s tariffs ever became real, it would hurt millennials who are already working hard for higher pay to purchase cars, groceries, invest in their own business, or pay down student loans. Most people aren’t born w/ a silver spoon & a million dollar loan from dad. Back off 45.”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to grasp how Trump was using the threat of tariffs on Mexico. It was never Trump’s goal to place tariffs on Mexico. It is a negotiation tool the president has to squeeze the Mexicans to help out at the border.
If Trump’s threat worked, which it did, then there would be no tariffs. In fact, the president has reiterated that if Mexico slacks off and does not do what they promised, he will go ahead with the tariffs. It’s a wait and sees-type of negotiation at this time.
However, Auntie Maxine and her cohorts live in an alternate universe. Facts don’t matter. So, Mad Maxine is claiming victory. We can’t make this stuff up.

Shortly after Trump made the momentous announcement, Waters spiked the political football, retweeting a Raw Story article titled, Maxine Waters praised for correctly predicting when Trump would cave on his trade war with Mexico,” reported Breitbart.
Americans on social media made it clear to Mad Maxine she shouldn’t be taking a victory lap, and they torched her.

Maxine Waters at 80-years-old and over 30 years as an unsuccessful Congresswoman should step down. Her only value to the country is comic relief. However, she won’t. Ole Maxine won’t give up her easy meal ticket. All she has to do is run around screaming “Impeach 45,” go on MSNBC with softball interviews where she can spew more of her idiotic stances, and spread repulsive lies about the leader of the free world.
Maxine Waters’ legacy will be a street named after her on skid row, and that will reflect the honest truth about her time in Congress. All she accomplished was to increase the homeless population in Los Angeles. She is a do-nothing big mouth who scammed millions of dollars in Congressional pay from the American people.
