Enjoy.)Lutheran “progressive” pastor Angela Denker accused American Christians of having “lost the Gospel of Jesus.” Leave it to CNN to find a rogue leftist masquerading as a “pastor.” She said American Christians were instead embracing “wealth and power,” which led to the election of President Donald Trump. But that’s not all. She went on a rant and attacked Christian Trump supporters, and that’s when she was made to regret it. You’ll love this.
On Sunday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Lutheran pastor Angela Denker accused American Christians of having “lost the Gospel of Jesus.” She said they were instead embracing “wealth and power,” which led to the election of President Donald Trump.
When asked about Christian support for Trump, Denker said, “The American church has lost the Gospel of Jesus and has become caught up in a gospel distortion, over Christian Nationalism which says that our God is no longer the God of the Bible but a God who makes America strongest.”
She continued, “I found this in churches from Appalachia to Orange County that pastors, in particular, have failed to teach the actual teachings of Jesus, which were not about power or wealth or money, but about loving one another, about giving your money to the poor, and instead, American churches have become caught up in wealth and power, and it has led American Christians to be so entirely focused on our own power and our own money, and of course, has led to a president who exemplifies many of those things.”
This is is old “social justice” platform that came out of “Liberation Theology.” It is something far-left radicals embraced in the early 1980s in South America. Barack Obama’s old pastor Jeremiah Wright preached an off-shoot of this same Marxist-based rhetoric called “Black Liberation Theology.”
“I think the national news media needs to more deeply understand the actual story of Jesus and who Jesus really is,” Denker added. “Jesus was somebody who was not at all like an earthly king, and God sent Jesus to remind the people of Israel that an earthly king was not what God intended. Americans are getting caught up in the same kind of traps that the Hebrew people of the Old Testament were, which is waiting for an earthly king to bring us power. That is not the story of Christianity. I think a lot of journalists are missing that part.”

Denker isn’t preaching any Gospel. She is preaching Marxist propaganda which is a direct assault on the four Gospels.
Unfortunately, we better get used to more and more of these crazies coming out of the woodwork. “Spreading the wealth around” bull crap and wrapping it up in the Gospels is disgusting. It’s high-stakes election season, and the Democrats and their media co-conspirators know the majority of Christians in America helped get Trump elected. Of course, say the word “abortion” and those like Denker go mute.
Well, those same Americans who elected Trump made Denker regret her remarks.

The Democrats and CNN are so desperate that they are now turning to wackos like Pastor Denker. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to decode Denker is just another leftwing hack.
Denker wrote this book titled “Red State Christians.” She claims Christians lost their way when they voted for Trump. Well, all I can say as a Roman Catholic is voting for any Democrat is now a sin answerable to God. Democrats all support abortion, which is murder, and casting a vote for someone who will keep abortion legal even up to nine months makes Denker a rogue pastor who has a problem with the basic Ten Commandments. Nice try by CNN, but they have no clue about American Christians or supporters of President Trump.
