The disgraced Comey told an audience in New York on Sunday that voters should “use every breath we have” to defeat Trump in 2020. James Comey was back in the hot seat last Friday. The 57-year-old was on Capitol Hill avoiding as many questions as possible from Rep. Trey Gowdy and others on his illegal operation to spy on the Trump campaign, called “Crossfire Hurricane,” and on his blundering the Hillary Clinton email scandal.
“Comey, who returned to Capitol Hill on Friday for closed-door testimony before the House of Representatives, has long been accused of interfering in the 2016 presidential election: first to protect Hillary Clinton from prosecution for storing emails with classified information on an illicit private server and destroying them; and then to defend the legitimacy of the presumed Clinton presidency by re-opening the investigation with days to go before the vote,” reported Breitbart.
They added, “Since being fired by President Trump in May 2017, Comey has emerged as one of Trump’s most vociferous critics, vindicating those who saw the FBI as having become too politicized under his leadership, and adding weight to suspicions that the agency may have intervened in the 2016 election and spied on the incoming administration.”
Now, Comey is so scared that his role in weaponizing the FBI against Trump is coming to light, he decided to focus all his remarks to undermine the president. At the 92nd Street Y in New York on Sunday evening, Comey lashed out at Trump and said that voters should “use every breath we have” to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020 in a “landslide.”
James Comey is an arrogant buffoon who should have never been in charge of the FBI. Comey wasn’t respected by the rank and file seasoned law enforcement veterans. Why? Well, the mealy-mouth former Federal attorney had zero experience in law enforcement. He had never slapped on handcuffs and locked someone up.
And talk about cowardly behavior. His testimony last Friday in front of Congress was stunningly evasive. The American Thinker explains how he had a convenient memory lapse. “Comey on Friday asked us all to believe that the man who remembered enough to write a book suddenly had total memory loss, saying ‘I don’t know’ or the equivalent some 245 times.”
“Comey claimed little knowledge of the Steele dossier yet he signed a FISA warrant based on it to spy on then-candidate and then President Trump all while he knew it was a fraud. His defense in front of Congress on Friday was that he didn’t know it was a fraud or he forgot,” reported the American Thinker.
But he was lying, and the record of his past testimony proves it. In fact, the Steele dossier was a fraud and an unverified salacious document that Comey personally signed off on as real evidence to get a FISA warrant on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. But now he doesn’t remember?
The Hill’s John Soloman has uncovered the deep state’s plot to oust Trump, and Comey is at the center of the entire debacle. Soloman reports, “The towering ex-FBI boss confessed that the FBI had not corroborated much of the Steele dossier before it was submitted as evidence to a secret court to support a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the final weeks of the election.”
“And Comey admitted much of the dossier remained uncorroborated more than six months later when he was fired by President Trump,” added Soloman. “I won’t waste too much time harping on the enormity of this confession. Everyday Americans now know that the FISA court process is an honor system and that the FBI may only submit evidence it has verified to the judges.”
Yet, these deep state rats would have Americans think that President Trump is the criminal and they are the shining stars who have done no wrong. Well, President Trump, the counter-puncher, let Comey have it.
The president tweeted, “On 245 occasions, former FBI Director James Comey told House investigators he didn’t know, didn’t recall, or couldn’t remember things when asked. Opened investigations on 4 Americans (not 2) – didn’t know who signed off and didn’t know Christopher Steele. All lies!”
Trump followed that up with: “‘Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun…No Collusion.’ @FoxNews That’s because there was NO
Lyin’ Leaking James Comey has perjured himself, and he knows it. He also knows his “alleged” crimes — weaponizing the FBI to let Hillary off the hook and then conjuring an illegal operation to spy on a political candidate — are small potatoes compared to what Robert Mueller wants to pin on Trump.
Comey railed about Trump breaking campaign finance laws on Sunday night. That’s all his pal, Robert Mueller, has got. Not only is Mueller’s case super-weak and hard to prove, what about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who really did break campaign finance laws?
Hillary paid $9.2 million to law firm Perkins Coie during the 2016 election for the Steele dossier. But, the Clinton campaign never disclosed it. Obama was found guilty of failing to report $2 million dollars in donations, and he was fined $375,000 dollars. No big deal, right?
But Trump should be impeached or worse over a private $280,000 dollar transaction to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal? This is ridiculous. James Comey and his cohorts will keep banging that drum about that Trump payout, while he has perjured himself and attempted to oust a duly-elected President of the United States.
