California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters recently went on record, blasting black conservative voters. With strong admonition, she boldly declared she’d “never, ever forgive them.” Don’t miss this.
In a recent interview with SiriusXM host Joe Madison, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) blasted conservative voters for voting for President Donald Trump, according to The Blaze. While appearing on “The Joe Madison Show” to discuss the forthcoming presidential election, the California Democrat said that she’d “never, ever forgive” young black Trump voters if they cast a ballot for the incumbent.
Not even trying to hide her bias, the 82-year-old congresswoman said that she could not fathom how black Americans could vote for the president and shredded “black young men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump.” She even called it “shameful,” according to the Daily Caller.
“It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump,” Waters admitted. “I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know what’s on their minds.”
Waters went on to declare that if President Trump is elected to a second term, the country will crumble into a state of permanent disrepair, using the same baseless Democrat talking points we’ve heard for the last four years — including the word “deplorable,” which Hillary Clinton made infamous in the 2016 presidential race.
“The divisiveness that this deplorable human being has caused, the confrontation, the dog-whistling to the right-wing, the white supremacists, the KKK, and they are coming alive,” Waters continued. “They are emboldened because they’ve got a leader.”
Although Waters and her cohorts on the left would have us believe that there has been a surge in violence from Trump supporters, it’s actually those who align with Antifa and Black Lives Matter who we’ve seen resort to such tactics during “peaceful” protests. Of course, that seems to receive little coverage from the mainstream media, in my opinion, but I digress.
The Democratic congresswoman continued to lambaste the president, claiming he’s nothing more than a racist who has no “appreciation for black people” and “black women in particular.” Contrary to her assertion, however, Trump’s White House has actually done a lot for black Americans in key policy areas, including criminal justice reform, black unemployment, and education priorities, according to Algenon Cash, a black columnist for Neuse News.
On Twitter, Cash even praised Trump for writing an op-ed to the black community, asking, “Has Biden ever attempted to do the same?” All of this matters little to Waters, though.
“He has no respect for us,” the congresswoman added. “He is not doing anything for us. For those black young men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump, not only are they terribly mistaken, any of them showing their face, I will never, ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities.”
Of course, there are plenty who would disagree, including Patrice Onwuka, a black opinion contributor for USA Today. Contrary to Waters, Onwuka says there is only one choice if you want economic progress for African Americans.
“If their final decision comes down to which candidate will continue the economic progress that lifted median Black household incomes to their highest levels on record and pushed Black unemployment rates and poverty rates down to their lowest levels, then there is really just one choice: President Trump,” Onwuka declared.
Waters, however, believes a black vote for Trump is “unconscionable” since she says the president will never, ever listen to black voices, even though Trump was just recently applauded by Lil Wayne, a black rapper who praised the president’s plan for Black Americans. “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” Lil Wayne explained, sharing very different sentiments than Waters.
“Black men who don’t understand if they’re not listening to you, if they’re not listening to our voices, they have a price to pay,” Waters insisted. “The years to come, if they help put Trump over, and help him get elected, they will go down in history as having done the most despicable thing to their families, and to their communities, and to their mothers and their grandmothers. … They will shamefully be accused of having attributed to the lack of equality for life for the people they claim to love so much.”
I don’t know about you, but I get the feeling that there is a politician here that’s not listening. It’s not President Trump, though. It’s Waters, who seems to think that political opinion is engrained in the same DNA as our skin color.
That’s a racist assertion itself, isn’t it? It’s as if Maxine Waters thinks — much like Joe Biden — if you don’t vote Democrat, “you ain’t black.” I hope the black community shows them otherwise on November 3.
