Well, that’s when President Donald Trump shocked the Speaker and her cohorts. You’ll love this.
There are two separate takes on the border crisis. The one held by 79-year-old Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts in the Democratic Party is to open the borders and give everyone amnesty. This, of course, is ridiculous and disastrous.
The other approach held by President Trump is actually addressing the real disaster the border crisis has become. The May numbers are in, and Border Patrol agents detained 144,000 migrants. We cannot sustain these numbers. Our nation is in peril.
So what does the Speaker of the House do? Well, she leads the way to give 3 million immigrants full citizenship.
On Tuesday, “Democrats voted to give full citizenship to nearly three million people. The majority of those covered by the legislation were brought to the United States illegally by their parents. Others entered the country illegally as adults,” reports Townhall.
But it doesn’t simply cover individuals in good standing, it also gives amnesty to criminals with violent records.
Rep. Steve Scalise tweeted: “Democrats’ new ‘Dream Act’ is only a dream for criminals: → Blocks access to state and federal gang databases → Prevents felons and gang members from being referred to ICE for deportation → Grants amnesty to violent criminals → Provides $0 for border security.”

This is the fantasy the Democrats are living in. If left unchecked, it would become America’s nightmare. And that’s where President Trump and reality comes in. He just called the Mexican president’s bluff.
“According to recent reporting, officials representing the U.S. and Mexico have failed to reach an agreement on measures to stop the flood of migrants traveling through Mexico. As a result of the scale of the crisis, and without an agreement from Mexico to stop the worsening problem, President Trump has announced tariffs on imported goods from Mexico will start June 10th,” reports the Conservative Treehouse.
Nancy Pelosi must have been shocked. The Democrats were sure Trump was only bluffing on the tariffs on all Mexican goods. But that’s not all.
The really shocking problem lies with the border and who controls it. Even if Mexican President Lopez-Obrador wanted to get his side of the border under control, he has zero power to do it. There are strong indications the Mexican government does not control the border region as Mexican drug cartels are in charge.
Mexico is a narco-state controlled by drug cartels with a political system of bribes and payoffs.
The most recent evidence was in testimony within the El Chapo Guzman trial, where witnesses testified to paying-off government officials, including the former President of Mexico:

Trump came out punching and put the sunlight on this drug cartel issue on June 1st.

“What makes Trump’s direct-speak so powerful is the brutal honesty of it. Never in our lives have we witnessed a President so forcefully broadcasting the truth without regard for recipient discomfort,” added CTH.
When Trump had just announced his candidacy back in 2015, he caused CNN’s Don Lemon’s head to explode when he cited leftist media reporting on the border. “According to a stunning Fusion investigation, 80 percent of women and girls crossing into the U.S. by way of Mexico are raped during their journey. That’s up from a previous estimate of 60 percent, according to an Amnesty International report,” reported HuffPost in 2015.
This is what sparked the president’s interest in the border crisis. From day one of his campaign, Trump has been on a crusade to save America, and he knew part of making America great again would take a Herculean will to fight the Democrats and their cohorts who are hellbent on having wide open borders.
Every American should be extremely worried about the border. President Trump is doing all he can, and he is taking all the slings and arrows over his tough stance. We must also rise up and make sure all our family and friends know this isn’t about racism, it’s about saving America.
We have all seen what happened in parts of Europe where migrants are given carte blanc. Stand with Trump and share this information far and wide. Together we can overcome all the lies from the left and ensure future generations will inherit the real American dream.
