However, that wasn’t the only reason given by leftists who also claim he deserved it. They are sending a warning to all Trump supporters, and you could be next. You don’t want to miss this.
A New Jersey resident says he was beaten by over a dozen people in the Chinatown district of New York City for donning a pro-Trump campaign “MAGA” baseball hat, asking police to find his alleged attackers in a press conference Thursday.
42-year-old Jahangir Turan, owner of the David Parker Art Gallery, suffered a large black eye after he was reportedly attacked by the mob on Canal Street at around 7:30 p.m. local time Tuesday.
Turan told officers that he bought the red cap at Trump Tower shortly before his assault. He said he was punched in the face and then had his head slammed into a metal scaffolding.
“One girl flipped my hat, and then within five, eight seconds, I got pushed from the back and my face hit the scaffolding pole,” he told CBS New York.
Turan, who declined medical attention, said the attack occurred so quickly he didn’t have a chance to see what his alleged assailants looked like. No arrests have been made.
“I love President Trump. I think he’s doing a great job,” he told Fox 5. “It’s sad to get beat up for wearing this hat. This is America.”
Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-AL), a candidate for U.S. Senate in 2020, shared a video of Turan’s interview with Fox 5 NY, quipping, “THIS is the so-called ‘tolerant left.’”

Well, immediately Twitchy, the website that tracks stories on Twitter was sickened to find a group of leftists who not only refused to condemn the beating, but they also were claiming he “deserved it.”
“‘It’s payback’: NYC man claims he was assaulted for wearing a MAGA hat — and these fine people think he totally deserved it,” Twitchy reported. “If his account is true, shame on his attackers and on anyone who condones this kind of politically motivated violence. And make no mistake: There are plenty who condone it.”
Here are a few examples of Trump-haters saying they are happy Turan was beaten, and anyone wearing a MAGA hat deserves the same.

The “MAGA” hat, a symbol of Trump’s campaign, has sparked controversy since his 2016 election, and altercations involving the gear have drawn national attention before.
Two men in Maryland were charged with assault and robbery in April for allegedly attacking a man wearing the red cap.
A woman in Massachusetts was charged in February with disorderly conduct after confronting a man in a Mexican restaurant and forcefully taking his MAGA hat off his head. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said at the time that the woman was in the U.S. illegally and faced deportation.
A New Jersey teen was also arrested and charged that same month with attacking an 81-year-old man for wearing a “MAGA” hat.
The Democrats have caused this racist trope connected to President Trump to become something these leftist nutjobs take as fact, and now it is becoming extremely dangerous. This is not the America good law-abiding citizens have come to love.
This is the America of the Democratic party.
To use intimidation and violence to scare the rest of the population into submission. We must rise above becoming what they are but we also cannot stand down. Wearing MAGA hats should be something all Trump supporters are doing to make sure these leftist punks don’t get there way.
