Enjoy.)If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calling the construction of the border wall “immoral” wasn’t enough stupidity to last a lifetime, now Democrats are accusing President Donald Trump of “manufacturing a crisis” at the border. But unfortunately for these politicians, the latest crime statistics that these immigrants have caused has just been released, proving that what’s happening should be considered a national emergency.
It’s disgusting at this point to hear the rhetoric coming from liberals about building the border wall. They were all for building a wall while Barack Obama was in office, but now that the wall is set to become President Trump’s signature legislation, they’re suddenly defiant.
We all know that when it comes to politics, the truth bears no weight in the minds of liberals. All they care about is their agenda, which is bringing as many illegals into our country as possible so they can pad the votes and stay in power.
As Pelosi and her band of D.C. swamp creatures want everyone to forget that just a few short years ago they were advocating for a wall, Breitbart has just released the crime stats taking place due to these illegals, including cartel warfare, drug epidemic, homicides, asylum fraud, not to mention the economic strain these people are putting on our economy.
In his address to the American people, President Trump said, “In the last two years, [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records – including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don’t act right now.”
In the last year alone, ICE agents arrested more than 6,600 convicted murderers and convicted sex offenders who were in the United States illegally.
Of that total, 4,975 of the illegal aliens arrested were convicted sex offenders. The other 1,641 illegal aliens had been convicted of homicide. Another 1,913 illegal aliens that were arrested by ICE had pending sex offense charges against them, while 387 illegal aliens had pending murder charges against them. [Source: Breitbart]
President Trump brought to light that the drug epidemic plaguing our country has crippled many areas of the United States, all due to illegal drugs pouring through our open borders, including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl. It’s become such a dire situation, that 300 Americans are killed by heroin alone – 90% of which comes from Mexico.
When you consider that drug overdoses killed over 72,000 Americans in 2017 alone, this is indeed a national emergency, as this number is three times the number of people killed in terror-related incidents.
Democrats’ antics at this point is un-American. A good question to ask these politicians is why don’t they care about their own citizens? They don’t bat an eye when they gave Central America and Mexico $10 billion in aid, but protecting our own people from crime and murders is “too expensive.”
The United States pledged $5.8 billion in aid and investment Tuesday for strengthening government and economic development in Central America, and another $4.8 billion in development aid for southern Mexico.
Hopefully, President Donald Trump will enact the emergency supplemental spending bill, which is an option that’s currently being mulled over, according to reports. We can’t count on the Democrats to do what’s right for American citizens. It’s time for Trump to do what we elected him to do. Build that wall!
