Pelosi was giddy, acting like a school girl waving the large gavel around. Then, as she finished her speech, the California Democrat was caught on a hot mic having a “senior moment.” This isn’t the first time the 78-year-old career politician has botched a speech. But this is one she’ll never live down.
Nancy Pelosi invited numerous celebrities to the House gallery on Thursday to witness her become Speaker of the House, once again. The California Congresswoman had to relinquish the gavel in 2011 after the Tea Party movement shellacked Obama’s Democratic Party taking back the House and Senate.
Along with nine of her grandchildren, Pelosi invited legendary crooner Tony Bennet, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, and television personality and fashion guru Tim Gunn to sit in the House gallery during the coronation.
Also in attendance were Washington, D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser, Stephanie Shirock and Ellen Malcolm of Emily’s List, as well as the presidents of Georgetown and Trinity Washington University, who all came to the Capitol building, reported Breitbart.
The gang of Democratic rats was all on hand, Wednesday night, along with a few in the Hollywood crowd as Italian Ambassador Armando Varicchio hosted the big gala dinner at the Italian embassy in Washington, D.C. for Pelosi.
Very chic, very upper crust as the coastal elites celebrated “Nancy’s back in charge” as Tony Bennet reportedly performed at the exclusive dinner, which also featured former President Bill Clinton and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Politico reported.
It was more of a coronation fit for a queen, than a swearing-in ceremony for the Congresswoman in charge of the “People’s House of Representatives.” Former Secretary of State John Kerry, California Lt. Gov.-elect Eleni Kounalakis, and other luminaries attended the exclusive Wednesday dinner for Pelosi, Breitbart reported.
And that’s why the new queen of the House’s hot mic moment makes this big brouhaha with celebs fawning over her coronation so funny.
The Daily Wire reported, “Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) got confused during her first speech to Congress as House Speaker on Thursday, admitting that she may have skipped over pages of her prepared remarks and she wasn’t sure what happened.”
“As we take the oath of office today, we accept responsibility as daunting and demanding as any that previous generations of leadership have faced,” Pelosi said.
During a moment of applause at the end of her speech, Pelosi was caught on a hot mic saying to no one in particular, “I think I skipped a couple pages. I’m not sure.”
Americans let the new speaker know she’s on thin ice and her dazed and confused act is getting really old.

“Nothing new. She skipped a couple of thousand pages when she voted for Obamacare,” said Twitter user “LippsdogZ.” Yep, that’s the old Pelosi we knew from 2010. The phrase, “just sign the bill so we can know what’s in it,” is something she can never live down.

Democrats retook control of the House of Representatives after the 2018 midterm elections. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats pledged to protect Obamacare and its protections for pre-existing conditions. Far leftist Democrats like 29-year-old Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have pushed for climate change legislation and a single-payer “Medicare for All” government-run healthcare program.
Pelosi, along with Senate Minority Leader Chucky Schumer, continues to fight with President Trump and congressional Republicans over the president’s requested $5 billion in border wall funding — a mere pittance to the federal government.
In an interview, Pelosi told a reporter that she will not provide any money for Trump’s border wall. “No, no. Nothing for the wall,” Pelosi said, according to Breitbart. And here’s the real issue: the 2020 presidential election.
The Democrats are banking on making Trump back down on the funding for the wall. Then, they will peg him as the new George H.W. Bush, who only served one term as president. “Read my lips, no new taxes,” was the infamous line Bush, Sr. could never live down after he reneged and raised taxes. They see the “build the wall” which Trump ran on as similar to Bush’s promise “read my lips, no new taxes.”
Nancy and the Democratic rats care more about getting rid of Trump than doing the right thing to keep American safe and fund the wall. So, my fellow Americans, let your family and friends know we must stand by Trump and expose this dangerous game Pelosi and her deep state rats are playing just so they have a chance to take back the White House.
