Now, we have hardcore evidence another one of his staffers was “tampering” with one of his “star witnesses” one month before the whistleblower’s complaint was made public. This same witness was just caught lying about being contacted by the Democrats during her testimony under oath. Don’t miss this.
Most of those who support President Donald Trump and see this impeachment inquiry as nothing but another witch hunt, also believe Adam Schiff was probably the mastermind setting up this witch hunt behind the scenes.
The problem is proving it. We all know Schiff lied about meeting with the whistleblower before the official complaint was filed, which smells like a cover-up. Now, we have another puzzle piece that goes to the very heart of proving this entire impeachment charade was pre-planned and coordinated by Schiff and the Democrats from the get-go.
Former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who Schiff has touted as one of his “star witnesses,” was caught lying under oath during the impeachment inquiry, and what she lied about is pretty darn explosive.
Democrat staffer Laura Carey emailed Yovanovitch, just two days after the whistleblower’s complaint was filed with the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (ICIG), but an entire month before the complaint went public. It was sent from Carey’s official House email to Yovanovitch’s personal account:
I’m writing to see if you would have time to meet up for a chat – in particular, I’m hoping to discuss some Ukraine-related oversight questions we are exploring. I’d appreciate the chance to ground-truth a few pieces of information with you, some of which are quite delicate/time-sensitive and, thus, we want to make sure we get them right.
When this email is written, the only people who knew about the whistleblower are Adam Schiff, his staff who met with him, and the Inspector General. DNC staffer Laura Carey emailed Yovanovitch on August 14, 2019. The whistleblower complaint is filed on August 12, 2019. The whistleblower’s story goes public on September 13, 2019.
“The timeline of this email is critical. It is known that the whistleblower contacted Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Cal.) before filing his complaint. As [Tucker] Carlson points out, given that the above email was sent before the whistleblower complaint went public, it’s worth asking Schiff whether he had the audacity to contact other Democrat teams on the Hill about the complaint and its contents before it became public knowledge,” The Federalist reports.
“In other words, what kind of stealthy (and possibly corrupt) machinations were taking place behind the scenes before the whistleblower’s complaint was used as a public pretext for launching an impeachment inquiry?” The Federalist adds.
Making matters worse, and giving more credence that this entire impeachment sham was a setup, is the fact Marie Yovanovitch just lied under oath about being contacted. GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin questioned Marie Yovanovitch about the above email and a second follow-up email from the same staffer, posing the question what did she do? Did she answer it?
“So, she emailed me. I alerted the State Department and, you know, asked them to handle the correspondence. And, she emailed me again and said, you know, ‘Who should I be in touch with?'” Yovanovitch testified.
Asked directly by Rep. Zeldin whether she responded to Carey’s overtures, Yovanovitch testified only that someone in the “Legislative Affairs Office” at the State Department had responded to Carey, to the best of her knowledge.
Well, that was some bald-faced lying by Yovanovitch.
Emails obtained by Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” showed that Yovanovitch had responded to Carey’s initial August 14 email, writing that she “would love to reconnect and look forward to chatting with you.”
On August 15, Yovanovitch responded: “Thanks for reaching out — and congratulations on your new job. I would love to reconnect and look forward to chatting with you. I have let EUR [Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs] know that you are interested in talking and they will be in touch with you shortly.”
On August 19, Carey wrote, “Great — thanks for the response and I look forward to hearing from them. As mentioned, it would be ideal to connect this week… assuming this week is doable for you schedule-wise?”
Is it just a coincidence that Marie Yovanovitch, who was a known Trump-hater and who the president had fired for leaking anti-Trump information to smear his Ukraine foreign policy in the press, is contacted by this DNC staffer and then turns out to be Schiff’s “star witness?”
The Democrats want you to believe this is all just another conspiracy theory. Nothing to see here. How dare Trump supporters in Congress report this is really looking like a Schiff hit job that he orchestrated with his Democrat cohorts. They also say it’s preposterous to allege Schiff and his staff would tamper with potential witnesses.
Well, emails don’t lie, but Schiff’s star witness surely has under oath. Anyone who ignores this blatant setup and refuses to see what is really going on are either partisan hacks or totally incompetent. Any American who claims to be a patriot can clearly see the truth that the Democrats have once again been caught attempting another coup.
