Tag Team: Pelosi & Schumer Blasted For Killing Rescue Bill – To Sneak In Pork

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are the Democrat “tag-team” who thwarted the COVID-19 rescue bill over the last four days. The GOP leadership of Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy tried in vain to re-work the bill several times. The House Speaker then used Schumer to crush the bill on the Senate floor. Meanwhile, many Americans are suffering from jobs lost and businesses closed for good. Well, poor Nancy and Chucky are getting blasted as their pork plan is exposed.

Tempers erupted on the Senate floor on Monday after Chuck Schumer broke into the proceedings to delay the COVID-19 rescue bill for a second time. Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisana had had enough of the shenanigans.

“Do you know what the American people are thinking right now?” Kennedy asked. “They’re thinking that the brain is an amazing organ. It starts working in a mother’s womb, and it doesn’t stop working until you get elected to Congress.”

He continued, “Do you know what the American people are thinking right now, Mr. President? They’re thinking that this country was founded by geniuses. But it’s being run by a bunch of idiots. Do you know what the American people are thinking right now, Mr. President? They’re thinking, why do the members of the United States Senate continue to double down on stupid?”

So, what was Nancy Pelosi doing? She was working on her new 1,400-page rescue bill which is filled with a ton of pork:

  1. Increased fuel emission standards for airlines receiving funds and carbon offsets
  2. Payment for up to $10,000 in student loans
  3. Same-day voter registration, early voting, voting by mail, ballot harvesting
  4. Preserving collective bargaining powers for unions
  5. The expansion of wind and solar tax credits
  6. Requirements for federal and corporate gender and racial diversity data
  7. Post Office Bailout
  8. Automatic extension of nonimmigrant visas
  9. Restricting colleges from providing information about citizenship status
  10. Money for Planned Parenthood

Former Navy SEAL Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) on Monday slammed Democrats for proposing a 1,400-page bill filled with progressive pet projects and pork, while twice blocking a Republican-led, bipartisan-sourced bill to address the coronavirus and stave off further economic losses.

“This will go down as one of the most cynical, disgusting, malevolent actions in history. Millions are losing jobs while they play these games,” Crenshaw tweeted.

Rep. Crenshaw wasn’t alone in blasting the Democrats.

“I have never voted for someone who was not a democrat in my life. That streak will end in November. I’m beyond angry about what they are doing. This is not about the well-being of workers. This is taking advantage of a crisis. It’s unconscionable. I can’t wait for them to lose,” tweeted Dr. Karyln Borysenko.

In fact, on social media, #DemocratsHateAmerica was trending.

What the f**k does the #GreenNewDeal have to do with #CoronaVirus? @SpeakerPelosi and @SenSchumer have turned this into a circus, why should they care? They still get their paychecks. Screw small businesses, screw corporations, screw the people right? #DemocratsHateAmerica,” tweeted “Rosie Memos.”

I used to think #DemocratsHateAmerica was merely a derisive hashtag, but as we all watch Americans die while #Schumer and #Pelosi try to stuff the Stimulus Package with pork such as ‘solar and wind credits,’ I know it’s true. They hate America,” tweeted actor James Woods.

#DemocratsHateAmerica because they lust for power, then more power. It’s all-consuming for them. Hey speaker Pelosi, and Chuckie Schumer, get off your duffs and do what is RIGHT for America — for once in your abysmal political careers. #NoPork,” tweeted Twitter user “Scotty.”

Americans won’t be fooled, again.

Republican Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) explained in an impassioned Senate floor speech on Monday how “environmental extremists,” under the leadership of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are delaying critical assistance to the American people in a time of economic crisis to pursue a “liberal wishlist.”

The government has a duty to provide relief, he stressed, because it is shutting down the economy. While the bipartisan relief measure addressed the economic crisis, Barrasso said Pelosi “flew back from California to throw a monkey wrench into the works” and did so successfully. She and her party of “environmental extremists” are holding up critical aid, all to pursue their radical Green New Deal agenda.

Democrats on social media are making the same tired old argument: the GOP are the ones to blame. They claim it’s Trump who is trying to fund “corporations.” When you ask them to prove it, they can’t.

The truth is the GOP plan was focused on helping those who need it most, and it was Nancy Pelosi who after taking counsel from her hardcore leftist friends thought she could sneak in pork to fund their projects. Not this time. Americans have seen this movie before, and we will not be fooled again.
