President Donald Trump traveled to U.S. Border Patrol McAllen Station in McAllen, Texas, on Thursday for a roundtable discussion on the immigration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. While he was there, a local rancher found an unforgettable way to thank him for working so hard to build the wall, giving Trump a “special gift” that he could bring home to his son Barron.

President Donald Trump flew to McAllen, Texas on Thursday, where he attended a roundtable discussion on the current immigration crisis at the border and the need for an impenetrable wall to keep dangerous illegal immigrants out of the country. In attendance at the roundtable talk was rancher Monty Awbrey, who said, “The Border Patrol right now, their hands are tied, and these immigrants know it.”

Awbrey thanked Trump for working so diligently to get the border wall built and even gave the president a special token of his appreciation: his large belt buckle as a gift for Barron. “I want to gift you with my belt buckle,” he said. “You can give it to your son, Barron.”

Trump triumphantly raised the belt buckle up into the air and joked, “He’s bribing the president! I want this to be out in the open, everybody. I don’t know if this is worth ten cents or $50,000 but, anyway, that’s very nice.”

As this rancher’s gesture suggests, the American people are overwhelmingly supportive of the president’s plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. By and large, it is only stubborn Democratic lawmakers who oppose it, and that’s only because they will stop at nothing to obstruct Trump. There was a time when they were all for border security, and it wasn’t so long ago.

Even the so-called “Dreamers” know that a wall is necessary in order to keep our country and citizens safe. In the wake of Trump’s Oval Office address to the American people this week, one of former President Barack Obama’s “Dreamers” told Fox News that he and others like him support the wall.

“We support anything that keeps our country safe — and safer … Security should be our number one priority,” said Hilario Yanez, who came to the U.S. illegally, but was not deported under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) program. Yanez argued that the Dreamers who he talks to “want the president to succeed, want the country to succeed.”

Yanez urged Democrats to put aside petty partisan politics in order to forge a deal that will secure funding for the wall and resolve the lingering issue of the fate of Dreamers. “I think the time is now,” he said.

“In order to get, you have to give, and fortunately there are opportunities for compromise and have both sides come together so we can have a huge win for the American people,” said Yanez. “The president is living up to his moral duties, which is to protect this country. He has every right to ask for more border security. Every past president has done this.”

The Democrats can kick and scream all they want, but President Trump is going to find a way to get the wall built, come Hell or high water. Trump knows how imperative it is, and he is willing to do whatever necessary to make it happen, even if that includes declaring a national emergency in order to begin construction.

If you support President Donald Trump’s plan for an impenetrable wall along the porous southern border, share this report with your friends on social media. He needs our support to get this done.
