The View: Pam Bondi Didn’t Fool Anyone, Hunter Biden’s Innocent – Gets Destroyed

Whoopi Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts are intellectually dishonest. The accusations they are making about President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense are utterly ridiculous. They all agree that Pam Bondi’s case in the Senate trial “made no sense” since Hunter Biden is “totally innocent” and just a “smokescreen” to deflect from the president’s overwhelming guilt. Well, the shrews of The View were easily destroyed. You’ll love this.

Whoopi Goldberg started the discussion on Tuesday by playing a short clip of Trump attorney Pam Bondi at the Senate trial. She was totally devastating to the Democrats’ case by fully exposing Joe and Hunter Biden.

Bondi masterfully used clips of testimony from the Democrats’ own witnesses and reports from the mainstream media, including an ABC News interview with Hunter Biden. Bondi argued that Hunter Biden was paid handsomely for little reason other than that he was the vice president’s son. The company was under investigation at the time, and Vice President Biden later famously insisted the prosecutor be fired.

Bondi also noted that journalists had asked the Obama administration about the Bidens’ conflict of interest and that American diplomats — including State Department official George Kent and former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who testified in the House impeachment inquiry — had raised concerns as well.

Nothing was done, she pointed out, and Hunter Biden only left the board of Burisma in April 2019, the same month that his father announced his campaign for the presidency, when under closer scrutiny than usual.

Bondi noted that the House Democrat impeachment managers had referred to “the Bidens and Burisma 400 times” in their presentation in an effort to pre-empt the argument that there was any legitimate basis, other than the president’s own political interest, for asking Ukraine to investigate them.

“All we’re saying is that there was a basis to talk about this, to raise this issue, and that is enough,” Bondi explained.

So, what did Whoopi and her crew of Trump-haters have to say about this overwhelming evidence?

Well, right away Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin attacked Pam Bondi as a “Trump hack” who “dropped a lawsuit into Trump University” after the president gave her a donation. This is a false allegation and one of many as Breitbart noted. Bondi never had a lawsuit against Trump as the Attorney General of Florida, or at any other time.

Then, when Goldberg pushed Sunny Hostin on the Biden issue, the so-called brilliant attorney had no response—she just stared at the camera. Whoopi was hoping her fellow cohost and self-professed “former prosecutor” would clear up Bondi’s overwhelming case against the Bidens.

Finally, Hostin broke her short silence with a ridiculously ignorant argument.

“Should we look into this [Hunter Biden’s Burisma connection]” Whoopi asked.

“It’s just a distraction,” Hostin said. “Hunter Biden is not a material witness to this trial. What is at issue is whether or not this president, who has already been impeached for life should be convicted and should be removed from office for trying to use and abuse his power to affect an election…you know it’s that simple.”

“Hunter Biden and Joe Biden had nothing to do with it,” Hostin said while looking down, which is what people do when they aren’t telling the truth.

“And I actually didn’t understand what happened yesterday,” the former prosecutor added. “I couldn’t really follow it,” Hostin said, parroting the same exact thing Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed about Alan Dershwitz’s “tour de force” performance.

“I was expecting to hear….ah I guess…ah some sort of rebuttal…some sort of defense…of the president and I didn’t hear that…I hear a lot about President Obama….defending Rudy Guiliani which was bizarre,” Hostin said.

Listening to poor Sunny and her inept attempt to defend the Democrats was truly painful.

Sunny was referring to Alan Dershowitz when she wrongly claimed she heard no defense of Trump.

Professor Dershowitz held a “master class” in the Constitution. He said claims by Democrats like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who said the House could do what it wanted, were wrong: “It would place Congress above the law. It would place Congress above the Constitution. … would be for Congress to do what it is accusing the president of doing. And no one is above the law.”

Dershowitz said that even if Democrats could show that Trump had asked a foreign power to intervene in the American election on his behalf, that would itself not be impeachable. A “quid pro quo alone is not a basis for abuse of power,” but part of the way presidents had conducted foreign policy since the country’s founding.

When the Harvard law professor read a list of presidents who would have been impeached under Adam Schiff’s standards, it exposed how bogus the Democrats’ case really is:

Dershowitz’s list included George Washington and the first 10 presidents, also Abraham Lincoln, and concluded with John Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama—just to name a few.

To be clear: Alan Dershowitz has forgotten more about the law that poor Sunny Hostin ever knew, and that’s why The View as we know it is headed for a transformation.

Meghan McCain, who is a RINO at best, has become a hostile witness on The View. She sits through these ridiculous segments and says little to nothing. There is no doubt within the year McCain will leave this show and it will then be fully transformed into a program they will need to rename: Leftwing Views Only.
