Enjoy.)House Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer were in the Oval Office this morning for a sit down meeting with President Donald Trump. The 78-year-old Pelosi was taken aback when the president insisted the meeting be televised live. “The American people need to see this,” Trump said. He refused to play the Democrats game, causing Pelosi to declare, “You will not win,” regarding the border wall. Well, Trump called their bluff and shocked them all.
The big show-down in the Oval Office was all about border security, which is something the Democrats don’t want. President Donald Trump decided to leave the cameras rolling to let the American people see who is trying to protect them and who is not.
Breitbart reports, “Trump admitted that border security was a ‘tough issue’ noting that Pelosi and Schumer opposed the idea of a wall. He cited border statistics showing that illegal traffic dropped substantially after they finished portions of the wall barriers.”
Pelosi was shocked the president insisted on having the debate in front of the media. “I don’t think you should have a debate in front of the press,” she said. Then, just like the lying Democrats, Pelosi said after the meeting, “We will have a new Congress devoted to transparency.” But, the “transparency” will be on her terms, meaning no real transparency.
She also defied the idea that Trump had the votes to get the wall funded, daring him to pass a wall funding bill in the House of Representatives.
The House Leader declared, “You will not win [on the border wall]! You do not have the votes in the House,” which was yet another lie. Trump has the votes in the House right now, it’s the darn Senate that he can’t win.
Then, refusing to acknowledge the will of the American people who elected Trump, the Democratic leader scoffed that a shutdown was “not worth anything,” especially his promised wall.
“Trump expressed frustration that he needed ten votes in the Senate to get wall funding passed and insisted that he would not keep the government fully funded unless it had more money for border security,” added Breitbart.
So scared to have the American people see how they play dirty, the House and Senate Leaders once again begged Trump to stop the cameras from rolling. “Let’s call a halt to this,” Pelosi said as she was visibly irritated.
Schumer also protested that the discussion was taking place in front of the press. “Let’s debate in private,” he begged.
The president argued that funding the wall was a “national emergency” and proposed $5 billion in funding. Schumer refused, insisting that he would only provide just $1.6 billion in border security funds.
In response, Trump shocked the Democrats and called their bluff. He would shut down the government and take responsibility for it if they failed to include additional wall funding.

But, when the two swamp creatures, Pelosi and Schumer, refused to even discuss a measly $5 billion dollars going toward the border wall, the president knew there was no way to make a deal. Every 90 days, the federal government is spending a whopping $1 TRILLION dollars, so this isn’t about not having the money, it’s about politics.
Make no mistake, the Democrats will do everything in their power to make sure the border wall is not funded or built. Why? Simply because it is the big promise Trump ran on. So, they are hoping to damage the president by refusing what our country needs just so they can score political points. Let’s not let that happen. Every American must see through the Democrats’ sick political games. The future of our Republic is at stake, and these dirty rats must be exposed before it’s too late.
