‘Whistleblower’ Attorney Says: ‘Coup Has Started’ — Trump Makes Him Regret It

Mark S. Zaid, the attorney representing the so-called whistleblower in the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, was caught red-handed tweeting out the “coup has started.” In fact, Zaid has multiple “coup” statements attributed to him via social media. Well, poor Zaid didn’t know what hit him last night as the president made sure he regretted his “coup” remarks. You’ll love this.

Mark S. Zaid, the attorney representing the so-called whistleblower, was caught sending out multiple tweets about staging a coup against President Trump.

On January 30, 2017, Zaid tweeted: #coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers.”

It appears Zaid has been dying to participate in overthrowing the duly elected president of the United States for quite some time. In fact, Zaid hates Trump supporters as much as he hates the president himself.

On July 1, 2017, Zaid once again took to Twitter to vent his obsession with overthrowing Trump. “It’s very scary. We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters. We have to,” tweeted Zaid.

Then, in April 2017, Zaid was trying to egg on people to agree with him that “we need to get rid of him.” Being that the president was only in office for a little over a year at that time, and based on his previous “coup” related tweets, it’s safe to assume Zaid wasn’t referring to the 2020 election, but another plot to overthrow the president.

“I vote we get rid of him. Anyone else with me!” Zaid tweeted on April 9, 2017.

And 45 years from now we might be recalling stories regarding the impeachment of @realDonaldTrump. I’ll be old, but will be worth the wait,” Zaid tweeted on June 19, 2017, along with an old article on Watergate.

In a statement provided to Fox News, Trump campaign communication director Tim Murtaugh said, “The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game. It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

Trump has been repeatedly labeled as a conspiracy theorist for believing that there is a group of individuals in the government who work against the administration which is referred to by many as the “deep state.”

Well, President Trump made sure Zaid regretted his “coup” remarks by blasting him on live TV during his rally last night.

“I just got off the plane and they hand me this,” Trump said holding up a piece of paper at the rally in Louisana last night. “OK, they just hand me this story. ‘Coup has started,’ whistleblower’s attorney said in 2017. Anyone know when that was? That was a long time ago. It’s all a hoax! They say January 2017: ‘a coup has started and impeachment will follow.’ It’s all a hoax. It’s a scam, and you know who helps them? These people back here, the media.” The crowd erupts in boos.

“Oops, a light is gonna go off, a CNN light is gonna go off,” Trump adds, pointing to the CNN camera. “It says from the lawyer. A sleazeball. It says: ‘I predict at CNN will play a key role in @real Donald Trump not finishing out his first term.’ Can you believe that? And this was done a long time ago. Then he goes: ‘as one falls another will take his place,’ referring to outgoing Trump administration employees. Who by the way, have been put through hell by the sleaze back there (the media) and by crooked politicians.”

On October 1, Trump tweeted: “As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a COUP, intended to take away the Power of the People, their VOTE, their Freedoms, their Second Amendment, Religion, Military, Border Wall, and their God-given rights as a Citizen of The United States of America!”

The Washington D.C. swamp has been hellbent on overthrowing the president from the day he took office. Mark Zaid must have been overjoyed when Adam Schiff’s staffers contacted him to be the frontman for their bogus whistleblower. Zaid has the audacity to threaten media outlets for naming his alleged client. This isn’t a game where swamp dwellers get to make up the rules as they go.

If Zaid wants to play the “coup game,” he better put on his big boy pants. Patriots aren’t going to idly stand by as he and his comrades overthrow the man who received 63 million votes from patriotic Americans. That’s not how this story is going to end, and Zaid’s legacy will be as that sleazeball attorney who got in way over his head.
