GOP Congresswoman Catches Schiff In Lies During Impeachment Inquiry On Live TV

Adam Schiff hit a big snag right off the bat during his open impeachment inquiry. After giving an opening statement, GOP Congresswoman Elise Stefanik interrupted Chairman Schiff to ask important questions about why he isn’t allowing the GOP to call witnesses… and where’s the whistleblower? Well, that’s when Schiff started to totally unravel, and he was caught lying. You’ll love this.

Adam Schiff started his big “show trial” on Capitol Hill this morning, and already he hit a huge bump in the road named Elise Stefanik. In 2014, a 30-year-old Elise Stefanik ran for Congress and won. Stefanik became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress at that time, a record Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez broke when the former bartender got elected at 29 years old.

However, as we have said in the past, Stefanik is one of the brightest representatives on Capitol Hill, unlike AOC.  Stefanik graduated from Harvard in 2006 where she received the coveted Women’s Leadership Award.

The New York Republican grabbed the attention of Americans when she singlehandedly caught former FBI Director James Comey in a brazen lie while he was under oath. Thanks to Sefanik’s expert questioning, Comey had to admit he had not informed anyone in Congress he was carrying out an investigation into Trump. This was one of the biggest breaks in proving the FBI/DOJ were engaging in an illegal spy operation.

So, when Rep. Stefanik interrupted Schiff’s clown show, we knew she was doing so for something extremely relevant.

“Mr. Schiff, when can we expect a response to our November 9th letter requesting for certain individual witnesses to be called? Stefanik asked, holding up a sheet of paper.

“The Gentlewoman should be aware that three of the witnesses the minority requested will be scheduled for next week…” Schiff said.

“Those are your witnesses, Mr. Chairman,” Stefanik pointed out, exposing Schiff’s one-sided show trial. “What about the [GOP’s] additional six witnesses?”

“The Gentlewoman may inquire about additional witnesses or make a request for additional witnesses following the witnesses’ testimony,” Schiff responded, which means you can ask but he’ll say no.

“Mr. Chairman, I have a point of order under House Res. 660,” Stefanik added, pressing Schiff. “Mr. Chairman will you be prohibiting questioning of witnesses as you have in the closed-door depositions?”

“As the Gentlewoman should know if she was present…” Schiff began, as a defiant Stefanik cut him off. “I was [present], Mr. Chairman…that’s correct.”

“Yet the only time I prevented witnesses from answering questions along with their counsel was when it was apparent they were going to out the whistleblower,” Schiff said. “I’m disturbed to hear members of this committee seek to undermine outing the whistleblower.”

Mr. Chairman, only one member on the committee and their staff have direct knowledge of the whistleblower...” Stefanik said as Schiff started banging his gavel. Schiff knew Stefanik was about to expose he is the only one with “direct knowledge” of the whistleblower.

“The Gentlewoman will suspend!” Schiff ordered, upset. “We will not permit the outing of the whistleblower and all counsel will instruct their clients not to answer any questions about the whistleblower, and if needed I will intervene.”

Schiff here used Congress’ “parliamentary procedure” to shut down Elise Stefanik from speaking. Stefanik made a point to shut off her own mic in an effort to expose Schiff’s shenanigans. Schiff, with his power as the Chairman, can order members “to suspend,” meaning they must stop speaking, immediately.

Luckily, other GOP Reps. picked up after Schiff shuts Stefanik down.

That’s when GOP Rep. Mike Conaway stepped in to continue where Stefanik left off.

“I seek recognition to make a motion that we actually subpoena the whistleblower. For a closed-door secret deposition, so the questions which should be appropriate asked of the whistleblower by our side, your side, are asked. And I would prefer that instead of being your single decision that the committee speak to that decision, not just the Chairman,” GOP Rep. Conaway said to Schiff.

“It won’t be my single decision,” Schiff said, which is a lie. Schiff has sole power. “It won’t be my single decision. We will entertain a motion to subpoena any witness but after the witnesses have had an opportunity to testify.”

Rep. Jim Jordan jumped in here, and Schiff couldn’t stop him.

“Mr. Chairman, do you know when we might have the ability to vote on having the whistleblower testify? Out of the 435 members of Congress, you’re the only one who knows who that individual is and your staff is the only staff who has had a chance to talk to that individual. We also would like that opportunity.”

First, the Gentleman knows that is a false statement,” Schiff said, lying once again. “I don’t know the identity of the whistleblower.”

However, everyone knows the identity of the whistleblower, whose identity was outed several days ago.

Nancy Pelosi was aided by her anti-Trump attorneys in changing the rules for impeachment back in 2018. This gives the Chairman, in this case, Adam Schiff, the sole power to approve or deny witnesses. When Schiff said that “we will entertain a motion” to allow witnesses, he is lying. Who is the “we” Schiff is talking about?

It’s Schiff, my fellow Americans. Schiff only answered “we” to confuse Americans. He isn’t about to take a vote on anything. Stefanik also got Schiff on the record admitting the GOP has not been able to call their own witnesses. When the Congresswoman responded to Schiff by saying, “those are your witnesses,” she not only exposed him but she also did something the Democrats really hate.

Rep. Stefanik created a soundbite that Americans can consume quickly. That soundbite is already going viral, and it proves in less than a minute the truth about these hearings. It’s a one-sided farce. And that is so damaging to the Democrat’s goals in this age of the internet when everything is broken down into soundbites.

Let’s all continue to pray for our GOP Reps. like Elise Stefanik. They are up against a totally unfair process, but as we can see, they are shining the light on the truth.
