Omar Is ‘Ashamed Of America’ & Refuses To Condemn Al-Qaeda, Angers Patriots

Rep. Ilhan Omar dug herself in deeper yesterday when she refused to condemn al-Qaeda at a press conference. The Minnesota Congresswoman also says she “ashamed of America” and “loves this country more than natural-born citizens.” Well, angry Americans aren’t fooled one bit by her word games, and they let her know it. You’ll love this.

Rep. Ilhan Omar was flanked by Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Presley at a press conference yesterday afternoon on Capitol Hill. Their message: play the race and victim card in the wake of their dust-up with President Donald Trump.

By now most Americans are aware the president shocked the senses of the Democratic Party by issuing a series of scathing tweets over the weekend informing “the squad” their anti-American, anti-Semitic, and Socialistic message will not be tolerated.

President Trump was asked by reporters in the Rose Garden yesterday afternoon about Omar.

“I look at Omar, I don’t know, I’ve never met her. I hear the way she’s talked about al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda has killed many Americans, she said you could ‘hold your chest out,’” Trump said at the White House after a Made in America Product Showcase. “When she talked about the World Trade Center being knocked down, ‘some people,’ you remember, the famous ‘some people.’ These are people who in my opinion hate our country.”

At her own press conference, Omar was asked for her response to Trump saying she was pro-Al-Qaeda.

“When he made the comment, I know that every single Muslim who has lived in this country and across the world has heard that comment,” she said. “So I will not dignify it with an answer because I know that every single Islamophobe, every single person who is hateful, who is driven by an ideology of othering, as this president is, rejoices in us responding to that, and as defending ourselves.”

Omar said she doesn’t expect white Americans to condemn white people who commit crimes such as mass shootings.

“So I think it’s beyond time, it’s beyond time to ask Muslims to condemn terrorists. We are no longer going to allow the dignification of such a ridiculous, ridiculous statement,” she said.

“Something that I get criticized for all the time. It’s not what you think, so don’t gasp. It is that I am anti-American because I criticize the United States. I believe, as an immigrant, I probably love this country more than anyone that is naturally born and because I am ashamed of it continuing to live in its hypocrisy,” said the Somali immigrant.

So, Omar refuses to condemn al-Qaeda, and she also refused to condemn Antifa yesterday. Now, Americans have had enough of the far-left Congresswoman and her anti-American remarks.

Denise McAllister, a New York Times bestselling author, tweeted, “Here is the letter @IlhanMN wrote defending nine terrorists. Her excuse was that they’re just young men who were marginalized. She needs to be removed now. Rep. Ilhan Omar asks judge for compassion in ISIS recruit sentencing.”

“We the American people want you all to uphold the law and stop aiding illegal invaders to destroy America. @realDonaldTrump is upholding the law when will you uphold it,” tweeted Ronda Ross Williams.

“Your day is coming and I can’t wait to see you fall. You disgust me and thousands of others with your fake love for the country you lied and cheated to gain citizenship in. How dare you call Our President a racist to attempt to take him down. Who God puts in place cannot be removed. We are one nation under God, not allah,” tweeted Twitter user “Reeni.”

Americans don’t ask for much. We all understand this country is a “center-right” nation and representatives reflect those who elected them. However, one thing we won’t stand idly by and let go is this hatred of America. Omar’s remarks leave no doubt she sees America as a racist nation.

It’s quite ironic. Omar lived for four years in a refugee camp before this country took her family in and welcomed them to live the American dream. Yet, Ilhan acts like an entitled brat who despises the country that saved her family.

She has a right to her anti-American opinions, but most people will agree members of Congress take an oath to “protect and defend” this country from enemies “foreign and domestic.” Her ideas do not fit with serving as an elected representative, and hopefully, the good people of Minnesota will vote her out.
