In fact, after she was called out by many in the Democratic Party for her outlandish remarks, the Minnesota Congresswoman claimed to be a victim and was called a “civil rights icon” by her cohorts on the extreme left. Well, this time the 37-year-old Democrat went too far, and she just got destroyed. You’ll love this.
Rep. Ihan Omar can’t hide her blatant anti-Semitic views. In fact, the Congresswoman is a rabid pro-Palestinian who sees Israel and America as evil. This isn’t new, back in 2011 Omar was tweeting out anti-Israel, anti-American propaganda. But now that she is one of the sitting U.S. representatives from Minnesota, her extremist views will not be tolerated, nor should they.
Omar has had ample time to clean up her act. Instead, the far-leftist is doubling down and playing the victim card. First, Omar claimed to be a victim after getting flak for her anti-Israel and anti-semitic attacks, tweeting: “I am told everyday that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks.”

“Omar’s remarks were roundly criticized — even by liberals. On Friday, House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) blasted Omar for what he called a ‘vile anti-Semitic slur,’ and demanded ‘that she retract them, apologize, and commit to making her case on policy issues without resorting to attacks that have no place in the Foreign Affairs Committee or the House of Representatives,'” Breitbart reported.
Along similar lines, Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) tweeted Saturday that she was “saddened” that Omar “continues to mischaracterize support for Israel” and urged her “to retract this statement and engage in further dialogue with the Jewish community.” Omar didn’t like that at all.

But Omar, tweeting from a congressional trip to the Horn of Africa, responded defiantly to Lowey: “I should not be expected to have allegiance/pledge support to a foreign country in order to serve my country in Congress or serve on committee.”

Well, who is saying Omar has to pledge loyalty to a foreign power? No one. The accusation that pro-Israel Americans — and Jews in particular — owe “allegiance” to Israel is a common antisemitic theme on the extreme right and extreme left, implying conspiracy theories of Jewish control and “dual loyalty.” Rep. Rashida Tlaib made a similar comment in January, for which she was also criticized.
“Omar was forced to apologize last month for antisemitic comments she made on Twitter alleging that a pro-Israel group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), had bought the support of members of Congress. (AIPAC does not donate money to candidates.) She has received support, however, from the ‘progressive’ left — and from white supremacist David Duke, who tweeted his support for Omar’s views about Israel on Thursday,” Breitbart added.

Fox News’ Brit Hume makes Omar look like a fool for playing the victim card. After the Minnesota Congresswoman tweeted out, “I am told every day that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks,” Hume asked her, “Told by whom?”
Yeah, who is attacking Omar and screaming at her daily that she is anti-American? These far-leftists love to play these games so they look like they are fighting some big righteous battle against big bad monsters.
The Fox News correspondent zeroed in on her victim status which prompted others to really shame Omar. Joe McGuinness tweeted, “Probably by other radicals; #Hamas or #CAIR etal. I really fear for America when alleged American citizens begin electing anti-Americans to Congress, but unfortunately that’s what they’ve been taught in the #PublicEducation (indoctrination) system!”

Then, there were those who just want Omar gone. “In America we have a response! Your DOG won’t hunt! If you keep it up you will be removed for treason!” Twitter user Calvin Locke posted.

Others, like Bob Wilson, are posting the contact numbers and the address to report Rep. Ilhan Omar to the Ethics Committee hoping an investigation will lead to evidence that will cause the Congresswoman to step down:

Rep. Ihan Omar has some very big conflicts of interest that should be further scrutinized. It’s alarming when someone, who has previously stated they refused to assimilate to our American culture and who laughed at our Judeo-Christian values, is now a duly elected representative.
The Minnesota Congresswoman also stated in 2012 that she doesn’t think America is a melting pot. Omar clearly does not have the values patriotic Americans hold dear. She is coming very close to finding herself saying something so grievous, even the Democrats will throw her under the bus, for good.
