Enjoy.)Whoopi Goldberg led a discussion on President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address on The View this morning, asking the question, “Did Trump’s speech convince skeptics?” Right away, Goldberg claimed Americans don’t want the wall, just more border security. Well, the 63-year-old Hollywood leftist immediately got destroyed, right on live TV. You’ll love this.
Whether the Democrats want to acknowledge it or not, President Trump gave a momentous speech last night on why America needs not just additional border security, but the wall too. The creepy rebuttal given by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer missed the mark, badly. And, that’s why the shrews of The View were sounding off against the president’s speech this morning.
After watching a clip of Trump’s speech where he says, “At the request of Democrats, the wall will be made of steel, not concrete,” Goldberg asked her co-hosts what they thought.
Joy Behar piped in, saying, “First of all, the Democrats gave him no kind of wall, no steel, no concrete, no straw, no nothing. So, that’s a lie right there.” Once again, Joy-less proves she has no clue what she’s talking about.
Then, Abby Huntsman, who is also fact-challenged, said, “The Democrats actually agreed to an actual wall last January, in exchange for the DREAMers.”
“Well, why didn’t he [Trump] do it?” Behar chimed in as Huntsman answered, “But, the president pulled out. I think he made a mistake in that moment.” This is an outrageous lie by Huntsman, who really needs to check her facts before she spews her nonsense on live TV.
President Trump did not “pull out” of that deal last January. He was willing to give the Democrats citizenship for their beloved DACA kids for the wall. He called Pelosi and Schumer’s bluff. It was Chuck Schumer who then panicked, realizing Trump was going to build the wall, and the Senate Leader reneged on the deal, abandoning their beloved DREAMers.
Even CNN says so. “President Donald Trump blasted Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer’s decision to pull a border wall from negotiations over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, saying a wall is required as part of any potential deal,” CNN reported last January.
That’s when dimwit Huntsman said, “I thought it was pathetic. I thought we go nowhere from what we heard last night. We’re still now in a government shutdown.”
This triggered Sunny Hostin to play the race card. “I will say when he started out with — he said, ‘It strains public resources and drives down jobs and wages. Among those hardest hit are African-Americans and Hispanic Americans.’ So, as an African-American and a Hispanic American, that for me was really dog whistle because what it meant was — straining public resources is oftentimes dog whistle for welfare,” said Hostin as she referred to the remark as a “racial trope” that she found “offensive.”
Finally, Whoopi Goldberg thought she would steer the discussion to make her point about the wall. “I don’t think anyone has any problem with the border security. I don’t think that’s the issue. It is the wall [that people have a problem with],” Golberg said.
Then, big mouth Behar screamed about two illegal kids who she believes were “killed at the border,” blaming it on Trump while refusing to acknowledge all the Americans who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens.
Meghan McCain wasn’t buying any of this nonsense. And, while we don’t agree with many of McCain’s views, we were so glad she stepped in to destroy Goldberg and her dimwitted co-hosts with facts this time.
“According to a Morning Consult political poll conducted January 4th through 6th, it says 79% of all voters in the country think that there is a crisis or problem with illegal immigration on the Southern border,” stated McCain. But, that’s not all.
In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings, Trump pointed out last night.
And, the truth that Whoopi and the shrews just do not acknowledge is that illegal immigration and a secure border is the biggest issue for Americans overall. When almost 80% of the country say there is a crisis on our Southern border, that means President Trump is doing the right thing and Goldberg and her cohorts are the ones out of touch with Americans.
It’s so easy for the Hollywood leftists who claim Americans don’t want a wall and ridiculously say a wall is “immoral.” They have all the walls and security they need. Trump made that point last night.
“Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then, why do wealthy politicians build walls, fences, and gates around their homes? They don’t build walls because they hate the people on the outside but because they love the people on the inside,” President Trump said in his speech in the Oval Office.
Whoopi and the shrews of The View never disappoint. Every show they do, the shrews are spewing leftist propaganda that has no basis in fact or reality. Sadly, there are those brainwashed Americans who tune in and believe every word these women say. But, not today. Seventy-nine percent of Americans say Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t speak for them, and they agree America has a border crisis. Now, we must secure our Southern border with the wall. It’s as simple as that.
