Fox News’ Chris Wallace was brought in to give live coverage of the first day of Adam Schiff’s show trial. Halfway through the hearing, Wallace claimed it was all “very damaging” to President Donald Trump. He went on and on about how one witness was so credible. Well, poor Chris Wallace didn’t know what hit him as he got utterly destroyed. It’s so bad that his career is barely on life support. You’ll love this.
Chris Wallace has become a total hack journalist. He’s a little man with a big chip on his shoulder. He never could live up to his legendary father Mike Wallace, who was a real journalist for CBS’s 60 Minutes. He also has always been a swamp dweller who is miffed Trump is outsmarting the deep state.
Unfortunately, Wallace should have checked with his Democrat friends on the D.C. cocktail party circuit before he blew up his career over yesterday’s impeachment hearing. Instead, his Trump-hatred took over, and he made a fool of himself.
“I think that [Ambassador] William Taylor was a very impressive witness and was very damaging to the president,” Wallace said on live TV. “He took very copious notes at almost every conversation. When he put quotes in his opening statement, he said those were direct quotes from what was said.”
“It also doesn’t hurt that he has a voice like Edward R. Murrow,” Wallace added. “So he is a pretty impressive presence up there. I think very nonpolitical. He went out of his way to talk about what he knew, what he was specifically testament to. The only thing he talked about was a strong feeling that it was in the U.S. national security interests to support Ukraine in the fight against Russia. But he certainly wasn’t taking any partisan position.”
He also wasn’t part of the Trump’s July 25 phone call and had zero first-hand knowledge of any of the key events. Ambassador Taylor and the entire Schiff impeachment hearing yesterday was so horrible even Democrats had to admit it was a real disaster.
“It was a total disaster for us,” one senior House Democrat aide told Breitbart News.
“Too complicated,” another Democrat aide said.
“This won’t make sense to regular people,” a third Democrat aide told Breitbart News.
So when Chris Wallace comes out giving the hearing a glowing review for the Democrats, who are admitting it was a big stinker, it’s apparent the Fox News anchor either has no idea what he was watching or he isn’t telling the truth.
Either he’s a horrible newsman or he’s a liar. Or maybe he’s both.
In case you missed the hearing, the two “star witnesses” were summed up as nightmares for anyone to watch. “Taylor’s opening statement, which he read in its entirety, was 20-pages-long and contained lots of unclear background information. Kent’s, which was nearly as long and winding, contained numerous history lessons about Europeans helping Americans in the Revolutionary War,” Breitbart adds.
And it was such a horrendous day for the Democrats, they had “therapy” dogs brought in to help them “cope” as the hearings went all wrong. We can’t make this stuff up. “Some cuddly canines are coming to the rescue of stressed-out Capitol Hill staffers,” The Hill reported.

Well, Americans also blasted Chris Wallace over his ludicrous remarks. Poor Chris was in for a rude awakening.

Everyone has political biases. However, when you claim to be an unbiased straight news anchor, then it is your job to assess a story based on the facts. Clearly, Chris Wallace’s fervor to see Trump’s presidency damaged outweighed his journalistic integrity.
When CNN is struggling to find anything good to say about yesterday’s hearing, you know it was a disaster. That’s why so many Americans who heard what Wallace said knew he was lying. Wallace was clouded by his many years in the Washington, D.C. establishment, and he wasn’t about to report the truth.
He should be made to retract his statement and apologize to the viewers. There’s nothing the vast majority of Americans hate more than a phony elitist who looks down on them as too ignorant to understand the complexities of an impeachment hearing. Chris Wallace’s reputation is in the gutter and his career is on life support. This isn’t the first time the Fox News anchor has lied to Americans over his hatred of Trump, but it is by far the biggest disregard for truth we have seen in a very long time.
