Enjoy.)Democrats were all for building a border wall while Barack Obama was in office, but now that the wall is set to become President Donald Trump’s signature legislation, they’re suddenly defiant. Now, angel families are making their sentiments known about the matter, and the Speaker of the House probably wasn’t too pleased with the commotion that just disrupted her office.
It’s truly alarming that Democrats have no interest in keeping our borders secure. In his address to the American people last week, President Trump reminded the crowd of the crimes being committed by these illegals, including sex crimes and violent killings, not to mention the insane amount of drugs coming across the border.
“In the last two years, [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records – including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes and 4,000 violent killings,” Trump stated. “Over the years, thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country, and thousands more lives will be lost if we don’t act right now.”
Trump’s words obviously fell on deaf ears, as the gridlock in D.C. continues, resulting now in the fourth week of the government shutdown. So angel families decided to make their voices heard on the matter, taking their loud message and signs straight into Nancy Pelosi’s office.
“These children had dreams,” one protester lamented in a video shot by Breitbart. “Every one of these kids had a dream. And they’ve been crushed.”
Several Republican legislators also gathered with the families outside the U.S. Capitol building, which was a powerful way to put a face to the horrifying statistics we always hear about.
Angel families, American victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens, marched on Capitol Hill and Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office Tuesday, along with legislators and Women for Trump.
Americans who have lost loved ones at the hands of illegal aliens and because of open borders gathered on Capitol Hill Tuesday urging Congress to fund a wall along the U.S. southern border for border security.
Reps. Mo Brooks, Louie Gohmert, Matt Gaetz were among the several legislators gathered with the Angel families and Women for Trump in front of the U.S. Capitol Building, as they put faces to the statistics of Americans killed or injured due to illegal aliens and the drugs that flow in the U.S. at the southern border. During his address, President Donald Trump brought to light that the drug epidemic plaguing our country has crippled many areas of the United States, all due to illegal drugs pouring through our open borders, including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl. It’s become such a dire situation, that 300 Americans are killed by heroin alone – 90% of which comes from Mexico.
When you consider that drug overdoses killed over 72,000 Americans in 2017 alone, this is indeed a national emergency, as this number is three times the number of people killed in terror-related incidents.
Democrats at this point are un-American. A good question to ask these politicians is why don’t they care about their own citizens? They don’t bat an eye when they gave Central America and Mexico $10 billion in aid, but protecting our own people from crime and murders is “too expensive.”
I would love for Nancy Pelosi for one minute to stop playing politics with the lives of Americans and look into the eyes of these families who have lost family members due to the precious illegals she’s so hell-bent on bringing into this country, and tell them that this entire thing is just a “manufactured crisis.”
