AOC In Hot Water, May Lose Her Seat In Congress Thanks To Noncitizens

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the New York Congresswoman who catapulted to notoriety in 2018, is in hot water thanks to noncitizens. In fact, new reports say she is on her way to losing her Congressional seat in what will turn out to be one of the biggest gaffes by Democrats. You’re going to love this.

The Democrat Party hitched its wagon to championing illegal migration and is now getting a rude awakening of what can go wrong by taking the side against American citizens. Ocasio-Cortez will go down in history as the darling of illegals, only to be ousted by noncitizens.

A shocking new report by The Texas Tribune shows 47% of AOC’s constituents are foreign-born.

Making matters worse for AOC is one quarter are noncitizens living in the Bronx-Queens district she represents. That means they obviously cannot vote. But that’s not all. AOC’s district is looking like it will be eliminated due to the noncitizen population, and thus, she will have no district to represent.

“A review by THE CITY, building on data and analysis by The Texas Tribune, suggests Ocasio-Cortez’ district could be particularly vulnerable to undercount because a little over a quarter of those living there are non-citizens. That’s a higher percentage than any other congressional district in the state.”

A Census undercount in Ocasio-Cortez’ district and elsewhere in the state could lead to the elimination of congressional districts — potentially setting off politically charged redistricting battles.

New York already is on track to lose up to two congressional seats during reapportionment due to population decline and slower rate of growth, according to a December report by Election Data Services.

Political analyst Frank Luntz broke the bad news to the Democrats on Twitter on New Year’s Eve. “New York is expected to lose a House seat after the 2020 Census, and state Democrats are looking to draw out @AOC’s district,” tweeted Luntz.

This all has to do with the 2020 Census which impacts how districts are drawn.

President Trump considered an executive order to restore a question regarding citizenship to the census but ultimately put it off. Still, some say that there will be an impact on the new census, and AOC, who might be fighting for her political future, is trying hard to inform her constituents that they must participate in the census.

“As you see, we’re a year out from the Census, and we’re already here with organizers, enumerators,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “So step one is to hire people from the community. Hire people from Parkchester, from Jackson Heights, from Pelham, from Throggs Neck that are from these communities, that understand these communities, that are already trusted — so when they knock on people’s door, people don’t feel intimidated or strange about it.”

“The Trump administration proposed the very noncontroversial change to the 2020 census by including a citizenship question. In AOC’s district, almost a quarter of its residents are noncitizens. As expected, the areas that will be heavily impacted are Democratic bastions. It strikes at the heart of their political power and roadmap to obtaining control,” Townhall reports.

Of course, illegal migrants are scared to alert authorities to their existence and location fearing deportation. Now, AOC’s political career is in hot water because she has too many noncitizens living in her district. We can’t make this stuff up. The New York leftist begged her constituents to fill out the 2020 Census forms.

Regardless of her efforts, New York State is still likely to lose up to two seats in reapportionment because of people leaving the state and slower population growth. AOC is certainly not the only member of Congress who should be concerned, but if her district experiences undercounting because of noncitizens not participating, it’s likely her district will be absorbed by others, and she’d be done.

AOC would have to start all over again in a new district.

In February, The Intercept wrote that AOC’s top enemy in this redrawing fight isn’t conservative Republicans, but New York Democrats. Yet, the publication also noted that should AOC’s district go bye-bye, she might mount another insurgent campaign targeting Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Who wouldn’t want to watch a Chuck Schumer-AOC match-up? The Democrats destroying each other is pure entertainment. So, start popping the popcorn and sit back and watch as AOC is either ousted by her affiliation with illegal migrants, or she gets torched by the Democrat Party backing ole Chucky Schumer. Either way, AOC’s reign sure looks like it’s coming to an end.
