Midler floated a conspiracy theory suggesting that President Trump is lying about his health following this weekend’s White House announcement that he tested negative for coronavirus and remains symptom-free. If you feel as if the world has gone crazy, you are not alone. In fact, the misinformation, panic, and fear that is being spread over COVID-19 are unprecedented. Sadly, Hollywood celebrities are using their large social media platforms to echo the lies.
Bette Midler is one of those celebrities.
On Sunday, the actress tweeted out her incredulity about President Trump’s health, expressing disbelief that he hasn’t contracted the coronavirus.

White House physician Sean P. Conley said late Saturday that the president has tested negative for COVID-19. The president was tested following reports that a member of the Brazilian president’s delegation that was recently visiting Mar-a-Lago later tested positive for the virus.
“Last night after an in-depth discussion with the President regarding COVID-19 testing, he elected to proceed,” Dr. Conley said in a release. “This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative.”
He added: “One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free. I have been in daily contact with the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and White House Coronavirus Task Force, and we are encouraging the implementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation.”
Midler doesn’t care about the truth. Instead, she is joining other Hollywood celebrities who are ratcheting up the panic. One of the biggest lies is still being pushed on CNN.
“Today @CNN repeatedly featured a total lie on screen, pushing the repeatedly debunked false claim that President Trump called the coronavirus a ‘hoax.’ This is a shocking, inexcusable, deliberate effort by @CNNPR to mislead Americans and spread misinformation,” tweeted Trump War Room.
“What @CNN did today is not sloppiness or poor journalism – it is intentional malice and deception, and simply more evidence that the ‘news’ channel is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. At least 6 entities have debunked the false claim @CNNPR is still spreading,” they added.

Bette Midler got destroyed by social media users who are disgusted by all the “panic propaganda.”

On January 29, President Trump assembled his coronavirus task force.
That fact is coming back to bite all these liars and fear-mongers. On that same day, CNN, MSNBC, and all mainstream media covered the Senate impeachment trial. No Democrat was warning anyone about the coronavirus.
It wasn’t until impeachment was over and they needed another club to whack Trump with did they start paying attention to COVID-19. The Swine flu infected 60 million Americans, and there was no panic. The yearly influenza flu claims up to 60,000 worldwide, and no one freaks out about that.
Beware of “doctors” on social media who are fueling salacious rumors. If their claims are not backed up by a secondary source that is credible, then do not believe it. People have caught so-called medical professionals, or people posing as “doctors,” making wild accusations that have zero truth.
“The Covid-19 epidemic is something like sepsis: the reaction by the media is likely to produce more harm to societies around the globe than the virus, possibly for many years to come,” StatNews.com reports.
Elderly people who are shut-ins rely on grocery delivery services to get their food. The panic buying has created a four-to-five day lag in getting their orders in the Los Angeles area. Some will simply go without food. This is is an impact that did not have to happen.
That’s why we must push back against the lies and propaganda. Yes, take precautions. But don’t join in on the fear-mongering that the leftists are promoting to hurt Trump.
