Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle courageously showed up on The View today. Don Jr. is currently promoting his new book aptly titled “Triggered,” and that’s exactly what happened when the president’s eldest son had to defend his father. “You wore blackface,” Don Jr. said to Joy. Immediately, Whoopi Goldberg went bonkers denying Behar had ever worn blackface, while the rest of the shrews of The View have a massive meltdown. You’ll love this.

“Triggered” is the title of Donald Trump Jr.’s new book, and boy did he trigger the shrews of The View today. There is no doubt Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle knew Whoopi and her crew of Trump-haters would be easily teed off by anything they had to say.

In fact, Goldberg started out the interview like a spoiled brat by refusing to introduce the president’s eldest son by his given name. For those who tuned out The View long ago, Goldberg has made it a point to refer to President Trump as “you know who.” The pettiness of the show which has become a comedy of errors knows no bounds.

“We always have one goal in mind and that is to engage in passionate hopefully productive conversations,” Whoopi said as she started to introduce Don Jr. and Kimberly. “And with all that in mind, please welcome, the son of the gentleman, ah, in the White House, DJT…”

At this point, Golberg is rudely pretending to stifle a laugh, and Joy Behar can be heard whispering, “Don’t say his name.”

“And Kimberly Guilfoyle,” Whoopi added. Well, TV etiquette says when you are the host of a show and have “guests” come onto your set, you should show them the same respect as if you were entertaining them at home.

Unfortunately, Whoopi Goldberg has no class, which seems to be how all liberals roll these days. It’s not enough to have political disagreements. These Trump-haters believe no one is worthy of common courtesy and respect if you dare support the president.

Which brings us to the “blackface incident.” Whoopi and Joy do another thing leftists do, and that’s re-write history whenever it suits them.

It all started after Behar brought up the president’s comments about grabbing women’s genitalia that was released prior to the 2016 presidential election.

“We have all done things that we regret. If we’re talking about bringing the discourse down, Joy. You have worn blackface,” Trump Jr. stated before being cut off by both Goldberg and Behar, who denied the allegation.

“No, I have not. I have not,” Behar retorted looking utterly incensed.

The president’s son then brought up Goldberg’s comments about Roman Polansky’s rape allegation, in which she said, “I know it wasn’t rape-rape. It was something else but I don’t believe it was rape-rape.”

“You want to bring this up? The question came up,” Goldberg spat out, pointing a finger in Don Jr.’s face.

“No, she was not in blackface,” Whoopi said with disgust. “Sorry, being black, I recognize blackface.”

Not able to get a word in during this meltdown, Don Jr. and Kimberly just sat there knowing full well they were being lied to. Joy Behar is on the record admitting she dressed up for Halloween as a “beautiful African woman.”

Behar has previously discussed a Halloween party she attended back when she was 29 in which she dressed as a “beautiful African woman,” and her costume included “makeup that was a little bit darker than my skin,” but added that it was her “actual hair.”

Goldberg herself took flak in 1993 for laughing at her lover, Ted Danson, when he wore blackface, used the N-word, and ate watermelon during her roast at the Friar’s Club. Many left in disgust, and Roger Ebert called it “a tasteless display” at the time.

Here’s Joy Behar discussing dressing up as a “beautiful African woman.” Last time we checked when a white person puts makeup on to look like an African, that’s called “blackface.”

Poor Don Jr. and Kimberly also had to put up with a whiny Meghan McCain, who can’t stop talking about her father.

Meghan must have worked for hours on her question for Trump Jr. She really wanted to get a sound bite where it appears she is taking him to task. Meghan sees herself as an elite GOP, otherwise known as a Never Trumper. She’s part of the dying breed in the Republican Party who dwell in the swamp with the Democrats.

“Mr. Trump, a lot of Americans in politics miss character,” Meghan said. “And a lot of people miss the soul of this country. You and your family have hurt a lot of people, and put a lot of people through a lot of pain, including the Khan family, who was a gold star family that I think should be respected for the loss of their son. Does all this make you feel good?”

“I don’t think any of that makes me feel good, but I do think that we got into this because we wanted to do what’s right for America,” Don Jr. replied. “My father has been working tirelessly to bring back the American dream who have watched politicians with no business experience send that American dream abroad to countries that hate our guts. He has brought jobs back. He has created unprecedented levels of unemployment numbers for African-Americans.”

Meghan McCain is missing “character.” Well, most Americans were missing a job, or food on their table, or they were missing having someone in Washington D.C. give a damn about them, and that’s why Meghan’s dad lost the presidency and why Trump won.

Meghan McCain, raised in the lap of luxury, wouldn’t know “character” if it hit her in the face. She wouldn’t know about struggling to make ends meet until the next paycheck, or wondering if you can pay for your kid’s daycare or buy the medication your sick mom needs.

Those are the problems middle-class Americans faced during the Obama years, when the very poor got all the assistance they needed, while blue-collar Americans faced ruin with skyrocketing medical insurance prices, as politicians like John McCain lined his own pockets and sent our jobs overseas. Meghan McCain, looking down her nose at Don Jr., was way more offensive than Whoopi and Joy.

Poor Meghan, she actually thinks her swamp-dwelling friends are going to take back control of the Republican Party. Well, don’t tell her, but she hasn’t a chance in hell. The neo-con days of the John McCains ruling the GOP are long gone.
