Fox News Gets Trashed: Weekend Anchor Attacks Trump Attorney — Doesn’t End Well

Fox News went over to the dark side. Americans who supported the network in the past have sought out more Trump-friendly outlets. Well, weekend anchor Leland Vittert attacked Trump attorney Erin Perrine on Saturday, and it was so horrendous that patriots trashed the anchorman and his network without mercy. Don’t miss this.

In recent months, Fox News seems to increasingly hate its audience. However, it all came to a head during Election Night when the Fox “Decision Desk” called Arizona for Joe Biden much too early. This one call was the final straw for some loyal Fox News viewers.

Making matters worse, the network canceled an episode of Judge Jeanine’s program the Saturday after the election. The 69-year-old former New York state judge and prosecutor was ramping up to expose alleged election fraud when Fox News‘ big bosses told her that was not going to happen.

“Sources close to the network tell Newsmax, because she made a very staunch defense of President Trump and wanted to expose the vote fraud that took place in the election, Fox News decided not to air her show. It had extended coverage of Democrat Joe Biden’s acceptance speech of a contested election,” Newsmax reports.

Then, there’s the Sandra Smith debacle. The blonde news anchor was caught on a hot mic becoming incensed when her guests suggested Fox News had no authority to call the election for Biden.

“Remember, just because CNN or even Fox News says who’s president doesn’t make them president,” panelist Cleta Mitchell said.

Well, that’s all it took for Smith to gasp in disbelief. How dare anyone question Fox News.

“What?!” Smith replied on a hot mic. “What is happening? Trace, we’ve called it!”

That brings us to Leland Vittert. The sad little anchorman who never made it big sure has a huge ego.

The Fox News Channel crashed in ratings on Saturday, coming in a distant third place to leader CNN and second place MSNBC. In the week before Tuesday’s election, Fox News averaged more than double the viewership of CNN and MSNBC.

On Saturday, Leland Vittert tried to shut down Erin Perrine from the Trump Campaign. He was so rude at one point he started laughing at her.

“Erin Perrine, a spokeswoman for President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, got into a heated back-and-forth with Fox News host Leland Vittert on Saturday after she was asked about the path to reelection given Joe Biden’s leads in key states,” BizPac Review reports.

In response to a question from Vittert about how President Trump can get to the 270 electoral votes needed to win reelection, Perrine began by noting that no state has certified its electoral votes yet.

“There are ballots still being counted across the country,” Perrine noted. “This is going to take some time to make sure we count every legal vote and do not count any illegal votes…”

Vittert interrupted at that point. “I understand…I understand that. We’ve heard that talking point for a long time,” he said as he went through vote totals in various states the president’s legal team continues to contest.

After essentially stating that Trump doesn’t have a chance to win, Vittert asked again, “What states is the president gonna pull ahead in?”

“Well Leland, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to speak, it seems like you’re not keen to let that happen today,” Perrine replied, which elicited a smirk from Vittert.

“Okay,” he said.

“There were almost 700,000 votes counted in Pennsylvania in opposition to the Constitution, and actual egregious error there where they violated the Equal Protection Act … nope, you’re gonna let me finish,” she said as it appeared that Vittert was about to interrupt again.

The scolding led Vittert to make a face.

“The equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution…almost 700,000 in Pennsylvania…”

Vittert attempted to interrupt again.

“…And in Michigan,” Perrine continued, “let’s have a conversation about that state as well where you have video from Fox News of individuals boarding up the windows, again, in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment…”

Vittert interrupted again as the conversation devolved into little more than a shouting match as the host claimed his guest was talking “more” than he was.

Yeah, that’s what guests are booked to do. Talk, give information. Leland is a real buffoon.

More crosstalk ensued at that point, with both host and guest drowning each other out.

“This is now my third time to try to get this answer out, the legal path ahead exists here because there are clear constitutional violations…” Perrine railed, which — again — led Vittert to cast a doubting look.

“Keep smirking, you know, making your faces and rolling your eyes Leland,” she says as he attempts to interrupt again.

Americans trashed Vittert and Fox News on social media.

“If You Haven’t Quit Watching FOX News Yet… Watch this Clip of Leland Vittert laughing at a Trump Spokeswoman and You Will,” tweeted “Catturd.”

“What a disgusting mess of an Attempted ‘take-down’ by possibly the ‘least-likable’ individual ever, @LelandVittert (too much gel) who works @foxnews. LELAND tries to SHUT DOWN @ErinMPerrine, fails. No way to treat ANYONE. ),” tweeted Greg Kelly.

“@LelandVittert good job!! Being an unprofessional a**hole!! Trump is not gone, what will you do when he wins this election? No excuse for rudeness,” tweeted P.J. Degross.

“Leland Vittert saw your interview this weekend. Very unprofessional. And you wonder why so many people are switching from Fox News to Newsmax. @FoxNews @newsmax @LelandVittert,” tweeted “Hemlock 101.”

“Funny seeing Fox News’ Leland Vittert defending Democrat-Globalist-Cultural Marxist election rigging, since it was those same people who beat the crap out of him when he was in Minneapolis. Maybe they didn’t hit him over the head hard enough,” tweeted JCabell.

It’s true Leland Vittert was one of the reporters who was attacked at the George Floyd protests back in May. Maybe it was that experience that caused Vittert to go over to the dark side.

More likely, Vittert is just showing his true colors now that the Murdochs are taking the network in a leftwing direction. Americans won’t forget the betrayal, and Fox News will sink into oblivion as they have sold out patriots and forgot why they were ever on top in the first place.
