‘I Can Feel Goosebumps’: Wallace Thrilled By Impeachment Vote, Gets Destroyed

Fox News’ Chris Wallace was so utterly thrilled as he watched Speaker Nancy Pelosi call for the vote on her bogus Impeachment Resolution, he told viewers: “I can feel goosebumps. You cannot overstate how dramatic this is.” Wallace has been arguing that the Democrats are doing everything right. Well, poor Chris Wallace didn’t know what hit him as Americans destroyed him. You’ll love this.

Chris Wallace is taking over Shep Smith’s show on Fox News, and like his predecessor, Wallace is parroting Shep’s severe hatred of President Donald Trump. Wallace has always been a swamp dweller. He’s a little man with a big chip on his shoulder as he never could live up to his legendary father Mike Wallace, who was a real journalist for CBS’s 60 Minutes.

Even with his known hatred of Trump, it was quite telling when Wallace couldn’t refrain from showing his jubilation as he watched the Democrats vote to continue their bogus impeachment inquiry.

As the Democrats finished making some of the most ridiculous statements about their vote, such as “the Founding Fathers and the Constitution compel us to impeach the president,” Fox News Bill Hemmer asked Wallace what he thought.

“As somebody who lived and covered Washington for 40 years, as they called the vote I have to say that I could feel it, feel sort of goosebumps,” Wallace said Thursday as the House voted. “It’s a moment in history. We’re going to have some more, but you cannot overstate how dramatic this is and what a decision the Democrats have made to pursue this course.”

Wallace’s “goosebumps” remind many of us of another so-called journalist, Chris Matthews, who was also overcome with emotion watching Barack Obama give a speech during the 2008 primary season. “I felt this thrill going up my leg,” said Matthews, and he has never been able to live that down.

Wallace is on the record siding with the Democrats on the Ukraine phone call.

“Republicans say that it was just a phone call. It was a lot more than a phone call,” Wallace said. “It was a coordinated campaign. What you’ve heard from Bill Taylor and Fiona Hill and Lt. Col. Vindman and a bunch of others, is that this was a coordinated campaign by people outside the regular diplomatic channels at the State Department to put pressure on Ukraine.”

What Wallace fails to recognize is that even if we take what these Trump haters have testified to as fact, the president of the United States sets all foreign policy. If Trump wanted to carry out a “coordinated campaign” to put pressure on Ukraine, he has the Constitutional right to do so. There is nothing impeachable about pressuring foreign governments. We do it all the time.

In fact, these National Security deep state rats like Bill Taylor, Lt. Col Vindman, and Fiona Hill work for the president. He doesn’t work for them. So, it doesn’t matter what they think one way or the other. Trump sets our foreign policy.

The truth is in the transcript. We don’t need their commentary on it. We can read it for ourselves. Trump clearly wasn’t pressuring President Zelensky to do anything.

Americans destroyed Chris Wallace’s “goosebumps” remark, making it clear he is just another partisan hack.

“Chris Wallace on Impeachment Vote: ‘I Can Feel Goosebumps’ That’s cuz you pissed yourself on air, you clown. The average working American can see through the failed attempts to destroy a duly elected President from the very first day. The people’s voice will be heard in 2020,” tweeted “V Actually.”

Absolutely embarrassing. This hack has got to go if @FoxNews cares at all about what’s left of its reputation,” tweeted David Wohl, who is an attorney working as a campaign surrogate for President Trump.

“Fox News has now become part of the unconstitutionally and unsound news media! for Chris Wallace to get ‘goosebumps’ when he gleefully speaks about an unconstitutional impeachment inquiry as though he was waiting for his candy on Halloween I am disgusted never watch again!” tweeted Vicki Elliot.

“Goosebumps? I felt sick to my stomach. Our constitutional Republic is under attack from within, genius!” tweeted Graham Ledger.

“Hey Wallace, you and your Goosebumps should move to CNN or MSNBC, you will be at home there. Then you can sprout your anti-Trump rhetoric and join the rest of the fake news clowns and be told what to say and not to say,” tweeted Twitter user “Hired Hand.”

“Chris you said the vote gave you goosebumps, you’re supposed to be impartial but you not. I had to stop watching you and your show on Sunday. You are never going to be like Mike Wallace. He had principles, not you,” tweeted James Woodward.

Chris Wallace is one of those Never Trumpers who didn’t like that Donald Trump wasn’t one of the Washington D.C. elite. Wallace complains Trump “isn’t presidential.” He doesn’t like the way he talks. The Fox News anchor is supposed to be impartial. Well, clearly he is an epic failure at his job.

What Wallace will never understand is the vast majority of Americans are not interested in his little club of swamp dwellers who live the high life going to cocktail parties where they pat each other on the back. We elected Trump to drain the swamp Chris Wallace loves so much. That’s why Wallace wants Trump impeached. In fact, that is the real reason the Democrats are doing this impeachment.

The Democrats are taking a last stand to protect the swamp. The Washington Post started talking about impeachment 19 minutes after Trump was inaugurated. “At the moment the new commander in chief was sworn in, a campaign to build public support for his impeachment went live at ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org,” the WaPo reported on January 20, 2019, at 12:19 EST.

Americans across the country are starting to realize this is the last gasp of the Washington D.C. elite trying to retain their power. That’s why we all must stand up for our president, and let those like Chris Wallace know the swamp isn’t in charge anymore.
