The Swedish native was roundly chided for blasting Americans at the United Nations earlier this year. “I should be back in school, on the other side of the ocean,” Thunberg screamed. “Yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you!” Well, Americans find Thunberg receiving this award ridiculous and gave her a big reality check.
Greta Thunberg, who has become the public face of climate change activism since leading school strikes in her home country of Sweden, topped President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to win the accolade. Once again, TIME overlooks our president to give the award to a crazy leftist.
“I’d like to tell my grandchildren that we did everything we could,” she told TIME magazine. “And we did it for them and for the generations to come.”
Last year, TIME gave the award to “The Guardians,” which is what they called journalists. They claimed “authoritarians” are threatening our planet and we needed brave journalists to bring us the truth. That’s rich considering the media, in general, have been caught reporting “fake news” time and time again.
TIME’s editor-in-chief, Edward Felsenthal, unveiled this year’s winner on NBC’s Today Show, describing Thunberg as the “biggest voice on the biggest issue facing the planet.”

Well, who can forget the 16-year-old having a temper tantrum last September at the United Nations?
“How dare you,” screamed Thunberg at a gaggle of reporters. “You have stolen my dreams, my childhood, with your empty words,” Greta ranted. “Yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you!” That’s when President Donald Trump showed up and stopped her raving and ranting, and it caused leftists to go nuts.
The Swedish teenager’s handlers made the big mistake of thinking they could play political games with the master, Donald Trump. As Greta and her entourage started to make way to center stage to address a gaggle of reporters, President Trump sauntered in, totally ignoring Greta and her people.

Americans found the choice of Thunberg as Person of the Year ridiculous, and they sounded off on social media.

Thunberg garnered headlines earlier this year for sailing — rather than flying — from England to New York City to attended the United Nations climate summit. The only problem is Thunberg’s solar-powered boat was sailed back by five people who flew to New York.
So much for reducing her carbon footprint.
Leftists, especially climate change radicals, are worshipping at the altar of Greta. They fail to see a child who seems to really believe that there will be a “mass extinction event.”
Instead, they claim she is doing the hard work to bring “awareness” to their cause — like sailing on a solar-powered yacht to New York. They see nothing wrong in a child literally believing in the upcoming end of the world.
Where are her parents?
Thunberg, as the media likes to remind us, is autistic and also suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). And her parents appear to be feeding into her anxiety and OCD by allowing her to fixate on bogus climate change issues and believe the world is ending. This is clearly child abuse.
So, what do the leftist elites do? They give her the TIME Person of the Year award, overlooking that this is a kid in crisis. All you have to do is listen to her crazy rants to know she is out of control and not in reality. Her disorders will only become more pronounced in this environment, and God only knows what her mental state will be as an adult.
