Joy: Pelosi’s Catholic Faith Has Moral Standing On Impeachment, Rush Destroys Her

Joy Behar claimed on The View that Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s total meltdown during yesterday’s press conference was really not a meltdown at all. Behar said that Pelosi’s “devout Catholic faith has moral standing” on impeaching President Donald Trump and that the Democrats aren’t impeaching Trump over “hatred.” Well, poor Joy was in for a rude awakening as Rush Limbaugh destroyed her ridiculous take on Pelosi. You’ll love this.

Most people by now have heard about Speaker Pelosi’s total meltdown at yesterday’s press conference. But in case you missed it, the Speaker held a press conference yesterday to announce the Democrats are moving forward with “articles of impeachment.”

A reluctant Pelosi came off as totally rattled probably due to her clandestine meeting with her Democratic colleagues where reports say the Speaker was urging them to stop this impeachment charade.

Nevertheless, Pelosi lost the battle, and that is the background to her press conference on Thursday. So, the 79-year-old Democrat went bonkers when reporter James Rosen asked her, “Do you hate Trump?”

“I don’t hate anybody,” Pelosi snapped.

I’m Catholic. I was raised in a Catholic house. We don’t hate anyone, not anybody in the world,” Pelosi said. “So don’t you accuse me –”

“I did not accuse you. I asked you a question,” Rosen responded.

“You did, you did!” Pelosi said shaking and pointing her finger at Rosen.

“Rep. Doug Collins suggested yesterday the problem is you don’t like the guy, have never liked him as president, and that’s why…” Rosen said. The Speaker was in such rage she bolted back to the podium to continue her tirade.

Pelosi stammered and stuttered as she continued her temper tantrum.

“However, that’s about the election…uh.. about the — take it up in the election,” she said. “The impeachment inquiry, however, uh…the Constitution of the United States and, uh.. the facts that leads to the–the president’s violation of his oath of office,” Pelosi said.

And as a Catholic, I resent your using the word ‘hate’ in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone. I was raised in a way that is a heart full of love and always pray for the president. And I still pray for the president. I pray for the president all the time,” she added.

Which brings us to Joy Behar and her nutty take on the Pelosi meltdown.

“What I really love is a leftwing politician is taking on the religious position,” Behar said. “Usually it’s the rightwing in this country that is …all the Evangelicals etc., who claim the religious mantle. And really it’s Catholics, during the Vietnam War… they were on the left and they had ‘moral standing.'”

“Now [Pelosi’s] saying ‘listen,’ don’t think, it’s about my faith,'” Behar declared. “It’s about my faith. I thought it was brilliant.”

So, in essence, Joy Behar is stating Pelosi was invoking her Catholic faith as moral standing and this impeachment is about her faith and her moral standing to do the right thing. Supposedly, it’s not about her hatred of President Donald Trump.

Rush Limbaugh and most Americans saw Nancy Pelosi getting triggered by the very notion that this impeachment is driven by hatred of President Trump.

Reporter James Rosen hit a nerve with the Speaker who can’t handle the truth. He hit too close to home with the Democrats’ real motivation, as Rush Limbaugh sums up.

“Democrats are wandering aimlessly and being propelled by one thing. You’re watching it. You watched it with the three so-called expert witnesses,” Limbaugh said Friday morning of three of the four constitutional scholars who testified Wednesday and called for the impeachment of the president.

“Impeachment has been in the works since election night. These people are seriously sick, seriously deranged! The hatred runs deep with Pelosi and the entire Democrat party. They hate accountability!” Limbaugh added.

On Fox & Friends today, Rush Limbaugh said, “Democrats literally have nothing. They have sacrificed every bit of concern for the American people. We are watching pure, raw hatred. They hate the man and they hate the people who elected him. They hate him because he beat them.”

Since day one the Democrats have been driven by their utter hatred of President Trump. The impeachment drive started 19 minutes after the president was inaugurated. The Washington Post came out with an article titled “The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun,” on January 20, 2017 at 12:19 pm EST.

It was quite transparent when Nancy Pelosi was walking away from her press conference and got totally triggered by a passing question most politicians in her position would just let go. This isn’t about anyone’s “moral standing.” In fact, Joy Behar is so delusional she can’t fathom that her side is in the wrong and motivated by extreme hatred of President Trump.
