Melania Fires Back At Trump-Hating Attorney For Mocking Her Husband & Son

President Donald Trump and the first lady were on Air Force One during yesterday’s impeachment hearing, which was once again another complete farce and waste of time. Unfortunately, Melania was tuning in when Attorney Pamela Karlan decided to attack two of the first lady’s main men, her husband and her beloved son, Barron. That’s when Melania, totally out of character, fired back at Karlan and utterly destroyed her.

For the last three years, Melania Trump has been the epitome of grace and elegance under fire. No matter what is going on politically in the country, she has put on her game face and shown up at events to carry out her duties as our first lady.

It must not have always been easy. Melania is a target for the leftists, and they have demeaned her in some of the most disgusting ways possible. So, when Pamela Karlan attacked her husband, Melania let it go. But when Karlan decided to mock her beloved son on top of that, it was game over.

“Kings could do no wrong because the king’s word was law, but contrary to what President Trump says, Article II does not give him the power to do anything he wants,” Karlan said.

“The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son Barron, he cannot make him a baron,” she added, which was a rehearsed line as Democrats laughed in the gallery.

From 35,000 feet up on Air Force One, Melania Trump fired back at Karlan: “A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it,” the first lady tweeted.

About the same time as this tweet was posted, Rep. Matt Gaetz was on fire making sure Pamela Karlan got an epic smackdown.

Gaetz began his allotted five minutes of question time by responding to the previous questioner, House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem S. Jeffries, D-N.Y., who noted that Americans had elected a Democrat majority in the House to serve as a check on Trump.

“The will of the American people also elected Donald Trump to be president of the United States in the 2016 election, and there’s one party that can’t seem to get over it,” Gaetz said, adding that unlike Jeffries’ caucus, Republicans haven’t focused all of their resources on attempting to remove the top official in the opposing party, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

“Frankly, we’d love to govern with you,” he added.

Gaetz then turned to Pamela Karlan and challenged her on reported four-figure donations to Clinton, Barack Obama, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

“Why so much more for Hillary than the other two?” he added, smiling.

“Because I’ve been giving a lot of money to charity recently because of all of the poor people,” Karlan answered sarcastically.

Gaetz then lowered the boom about Karlan’s so-called joke about Barron Trump.

“When you invoke the president’s son’s name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump… it makes you look mean, it makes you look like you are attacking someone’s family: the minor child of the president of the United States,” Gaetz added.

The congressman then read a quote from Karlan in which she said, “Liberals tend to cluster more. Conservatives, especially very conservative people, tend to spread out more, perhaps because they don’t even want to be around themselves.”

Karlan acknowledged making the comments but sought to explain that with proper context she was not speaking derisively about conservatives. As she attempted to elaborate, Gaetz wasn’t going to allow this hack to interrupt him at all.

“You don’t get to interrupt me on this time,” he said pointing a finger right at her.

Social media immediately erupted blasting Pamela Karlan.

“The Trump family apparently inadvertently embodies everything Pam Karlan wishes she were,” Dr. Gina Loudon tweeted. “Her seething jealously is palpable for all to see on national TV. It’s hard to watch. Why did she drag 13 year old Barron Trump into this? The woman is deeply troubled.”

The backlash was so bad, the Democrats got wind of the issue during the hearing. Garrett Haake, an MSNBC Trump-hating contributor, summed up the problem for those hoping this impeachment hearing would be the gamechanger the Democrats needed.

“The Karlan joke about Barron Trump was an unforced error, and Republicans are going to be talking about it quite a bit,” he tweeted.

In other words, something must be done to stop the bad press.

And just like magic, Pamela Karlan made sure she apologized—on the record.

“I want to apologize for what I said earlier about the president’s son. It was wrong of me to do that. I wish the president would apologize obviously for the things that he’s done that’s wrong. But I do regret having said that,” she said.

This hearing was such a disaster, Jerry Nadler has no scheduled hearings in the future. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi held a secret meeting with her Democrat colleagues in the basement at the Capitol. Pelosi told her people they could not bring in their cell phones, this meeting was in total lockdown.

The topic? What to do about impeachment.

It appears poor Pelosi is in a pickle. She can’t really undo impeachment in the minds of Americans and she really doesn’t want to take a vote to make it real. Whatever was decided in that meeting we know one thing for sure: this impeachment scam was the worst thing the Democrats could have done, and now they are just hoping to hold on to the House majority. They realize they lost the war on impeachment.
