Pelosi & Democrats Blame Trump & ‘Rightwing Groups’ For Riots, Get Reality Check

Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat cohorts are blaming President Donald Trump and “rightwing groups” for the ongoing mayhem and vandalism that is happening in many major American cities. Pelosi and her buddies fail to blame hardcore leftists like Antifa, and that’s why they got a huge reality check. You’ll love this.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on the Sunday cable news programs to blame the president for the ongoing riots. The California Democrat said that U.S. presidents should not “fuel the flame” and instead focus on “unifying our country.”

“They have seen their responsibility to be the president of the United States, to unify our country and not to fuel the flame,” she said.

She contrasted this with Trump’s rhetoric, saying his tweets act as “bait” to distract the public from the issues at the root of the protests sparked by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis police custody.

“I think to take his bait time and time again is just a gift to him because he always wants to divert attention from what the cause of the response was,” she added.

CNN’s Jake Tapper took it up a notch and blamed far-right groups.

“On CNN Sunday morning, after several nights of Antifa and Black Lives Matter-fueled violence in multiple American cities, anchor Jake Tapper asked President Trump’s national security advisor if white supremacists were using the unrest to start a race war,” American Greatness reports.

“What can you tell us about any of the far-right groups that might be trying to use this as a predicate to prompt a race war as Vice News reported?” Tapper asked NSC advisor Robert O’Brien.

O’Brien didn’t take the bait, telling Tapper that the violence was in fact being driven by Antifa.

The lefty blog Vice on Friday first promulgated the conspiracy theory that much of the violence in recent days was being driven by the far-right, saying “far-right extremists are showing up with guns to the protests against police brutality that have exploded across the country” and “others are egging on the violence from behind their computers.”

Various Democrat politicians in Minnesota and elsewhere picked up the ball on Saturday, floating the idea that right-wingers were behind the violence.

Liberal national security website Just Security also joined the fray on Saturday, suggesting that “far-right infiltrators and agitators” were causing the violence in the George Floyd “protests.”

“While it’s certainly plausible that a handful of right-wing extremists are exploiting the situation to cause mischief, it’s patently obvious that the vast majority of the violence is being perpetrated by left-wing agitators,” American Greatness adds.

“I have not seen those reports,” O’Brien said. “I generally don’t read Vice so I haven’t seen the reports on far-right groups.”

He added matter-of-factly: “This is being driven by Antifa. They did it in Seattle, they’ve done it in Portland, they’ve done it in Berkeley.”

So, this is going to be the new Democrat talking point: It’s not leftwing groups like Antifa who are rioting and looting, it’s those pesky far-right extremists who are trying to start a “race war.”

In other words, it’s Trump supporters who are torching American cities.

What a joke. There is absolutely no evidence that any of these rioters are “far-right” extremists.

Making matters worse, Senator Marco Rubio also makes the wild and unproven accusation that there are rightwing groups rioting. Rubio joins another Trump-hating GOP Senator, Mitt Romney, in accusing “rightwingers” of vandalism. It’s an utter lie.

“Various domestic terror groups on BOTH far left & right are instigating & committing acts of violence & looting. They are stealing the focus away from the murder of Mr. Floyd & the legitimate problems it revealed,” tweeted Senator Rubio.

Well, all those claiming the “far-right” are to blame for the riots got torched on social media.

“What the hell are you talking about?” tweeted Harmeet Dhillion, attorney and Fox News contributor.

“It became very obvious when left-wing celebrities and politicians paid to bail out rioters,” tweeted Laura MacDonald.

“Most reprehensible thing is that elected Democrats, instead of galvanizing as Americans and ordering police to crush these terrorists, are instead lying about them being right-wingers and @marcorubio was right there alongside them pushing that lie,” tweeted John Cardillo.

“Yah we saw THAT comin’. They always Riot & Coup then deflect Right!” tweeted Vickie L Fisher.

“DEMS are crowing they love the cities trashed they are on track to keep this going to win by any means in 2020 hope you cover the back story in this with George Soros and Bloomberg funding the anarchy,” tweeted Cynthia Lynn.

“This video is saved and Florida Republicans will be incessantly reminded that when it came time to condemn leftist radicals, @marcorubio invented fake moral equivalency and smeared the right with lies,” tweeted John Cardillo.

“What toolbox believes that? I don’t see any Confederate flags or KKK hoods,” tweeted Twitter user “Adam.”

We all know that there are far-right extremists. However, there is absolutely no proof that the rioters are anything but leftwing extremists like Antifa.

Re-writing history is something the Democrats and their cohorts in the media love to do. The two GOP politicians who are joining the Democrats in spreading this fiction, Rubio and Romney, are much more despicable than Pelosi and her buddies.

We expect the Democrats to lie about anything and everything that will put their agenda in a better light, but Rubio and Romney are disgusting traitors to the truth. We are sure Americans will not forget how they sold out President Trump and those law-abiding citizens who saw their businesses burned down.
