However, Pelosi doesn’t want to do that. Instead, she has a secret strategy to impeach President Donald Trump. When Rep. Steve Scalise took to the House floor and started revealing it, Pelosi freaked and cut off his mic. You don’t want to miss this.
Most Trump supporters understand Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff are not conducting real impeachment hearings. Unfortunately, many Democrats across the country either do not know the truth, or they do and hate Trump so much they don’t care.
Speaker Pelosi came out of the secret Democrat meeting yesterday and immediately held a press conference with her cohorts in the leftist media. Pelosi quickly announced the House would not be starting the formal impeachment investigation anytime soon.
This huge announcement was twisted by the compliant press.
“After meeting with Democratic lawmakers in a closed-door meeting, Pelosi said it was not necessary to take the additional step on a probe that is already well under way,” USA Today reports.
“There’s no requirement that we have a vote,” Pelosi said. “We’re not here to call bluffs. We’re here to find the truth to uphold the Constitution of the United States. This is not a game for us. This is deadly serious.”
Nancy and the Democrats know what they are doing is unconstitutional. So do most of the media. In fact, Rep. Scalise was calling her bluff and was going to expose her entire lawless impeachment strategy.
Trump has no way to defend himself at Schiff’s secret hearings that are literally being held in the basement of the Capitol Hill building. The GOP has zero power to call witnesses, or cross-examine the Democrat’s witnesses. That’s the definition of a kangaroo court.
Real impeachment proceedings are set out to protect the minority. In this case that would be the GOP. But Pelosi has a secret strategy in doing it this way, besides the obvious way, which makes it entirely unfair to the president. Rep. Scalise took to the House floor yesterday and was starting to expose that secret strategy when Pelosi cut his mic off.
“I just asked the Democrat Majority a simple yes or no question: Has the House been authorized to conduct an impeachment inquiry into @realDonaldTrump? They refused to even answer the question. The Dems literally cut my mic. This process is a total sham,” tweeted Scalise.

The big problem Nancy Pelosi has with her sham impeachment hearings is that the Democrats have no subpoena power.
“According to Capitol Hill members, via Politico, House Democrat leadership has taken a climate assessment of democrat House members and Speaker Pelosi announced they will not hold a House impeachment authorization vote. As a direct and specific consequence, all committee subpoenas do not carry a penalty for non-compliance,” Conservative Treehouse reports.
Yet, Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are running around pretending they have subpoena power when in essence all they are issuing are “letters” requesting documents and demanding White House officials testify. Those “letters” hold no power at all.
This is part of their secret strategy. It all comes down to the Supreme Court. You see, the Democrats want to subvert the Constitution. Most of you have heard that we are living in a “post-Constitutional” America.
Speaker Pelosi has been getting her legal help from the Lawfare group. These guys are swamp dwellers who aided James Comey with his leaks, wrote up Christine Blasely-Ford’s bogus complaint against Justice Kavanaugh, and aided the Mueller’s attorneys in the Russia investigation.
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Lawfare allies can change House rules (they did). Pelosi and Lawfare can also change House impeachment rules (they did). Pelosi/Lawfare can change committee rules (they did); in doing so they can remove House Republicans from the entire process… Which They Did. However, what Lawfare and Pelosi cannot change is the U.S. Constitution, which they are destined to collide with,” CTH adds.
Now, their next step is to challenge the Supreme Court so the House Democrats can impeach Trump devoid of his Constitutional rights and privileges.
“The Pelosi/Lawfare impeachment road-map is designed to conflict with the Constitution. It is a necessary -and unavoidable- feature of their impeachment plan, not a flaw,” CTH concludes.
Speaker Pelosi has been getting legal advice from this Lawfare group since day one when she took back the gavel in 2018. This secret impeachment strategy was hatched way back then and so far Pelosi as the Speaker has been able to change most of the rules for impeachment.
But it’s all a sham without subpoena power.
Pelosi cannot get around the Constitution, and that is the plan. This impeachment case is headed to the Supreme Court where Speaker Pelosi and her cohorts are banking public opinion will override anything the SCOTUS rules about the Legislative Branches right to subpoena.
The Legislative Branch has no subpoena power except in the cases which the SCOTUS has ruled it does. For impeachment, SCOTUS ruled in 1973 that the House must take a formal vote to begin the impeachment investigation, and at that point they have subpoena power over the president.
Pelosi has no power to subpoena anything or anyone with ties to the Executive Branch without taking a formal House vote to start impeachment. Pelosi is refusing vehemently behind closed doors to take this vote. One reason is it will give Trump all his rights and privileges to blow this case out of the water.
The Democrats may be even so bold as to think they can sway Americans to get rid of the Constitution in some way which is why the Democrats call this a “post-Constitutional” America. Pelosi and her Lawfare allies think they can argue this before the Supreme Court and win—or if they lose at least sway public opinion.
It’s a huge gamble, and it’s totally unAmerican.
American patriots must expose this charade. We all know President Trump will fight this tooth and nail, but we too have a duty to alert everyone we know to this travesty. It’s time the Democrats are totally unmasked as unAmerican fraudsters who care nothing about the rule of law. This isn’t a Democrat issue or a Republican issue. This is an American issue and we must ensure our country is saved from this tyranny.
