Rubin made the claim that Democrats were much smarter when it comes to the coronavirus and that “older Republicans” and those supporting President Donald Trump are more likely to die of the virus than their Democrat counterparts. Well, she was made to regret her disgraceful remarks. You’ll love this.
Jennifer Rubin is a noted Trump-hater who loves to spread propaganda. She made her disgusting remarks on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” during which host Joy Reid pointed to a Post analysis piece titled, “Older Americans are more worried about coronavirus — unless they’re Republican.”
“Trump’s own people are actually in greater danger, but those of us who live in this Earth can’t even reach them,” Reid told Rubin. “They’re not listening to anything that any of us say, including someone like you who’s a former Republican. You can’t reach them.”
“No, and there is a particular cruelty/irony that it is their core viewers, the Republican older viewers … who are the most at risk,” Rubin replied, referring to Fox News. “And when you think about it, which party immediately canceled all of their rallies? Which party immediately started having their political figures really portray and use their lies as an example? It was the Democrats.”
Then Rubin predicted a more far-reaching demise for Republicans.
“So … I hate to put it in these terms, there [are going to] be less Democrat deaths because of … the less mass gatherings. There will be less opportunities for people to congregate and share this horrible disease,” she said before letting loose with a nervous chuckle. “So it is really a very short-sighted strategy.”
Unfortunately, Rubin wasn’t done. She also referred to the debunked claim the president called the virus a “hoax.”
“‘[Trump] jumped on this right away, don’t you know? It was because of all that planning that we’re doing so well,’ which is head-spinning for the rest of us who watched him for weeks say this was a hoax. But this is how they do it at Fox News. Suddenly, he’s been the most [pro]-active president.”

Maybe Rubin can explain why she was pushing the Senate impeachment trial in her WaPo column on January 29? That was the day President Trump issued a warning to Americans on COVID-19 and assembled the task force of medical experts.
Why wasn’t she rushing to report on COVID-19? Yet, she claims her “head is spinning” over his response and then repeats the “hoax” lie. The panic and anti-Trump rhetoric she and cohorts are reporting over this virus is the real “hoax.”
Well, Trump supporters crushed Rubin on social media.

Jennifer Rubin proves it is the leftwing media who are politicizing this pandemic hoping it leads to a Democrat back in the White House come November.
We predict the panic, fearmongering, and blaming Trump will have the opposite effect. Democrat candidates Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders used their debate on Sunday to also trash Trump’s response to the virus.
Biden continued his opposition to any travel bans claiming it doesn’t help. At least nine leading medical experts have said that travel bans from highly affected countries are necessary to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Sanders said the first thing he would do to deal with the coronavirus outbreak is “shut this president up right now.” He made the bogus claim that Trump wasn’t “following science.”
It’s up to Trump supporters and people who care about truth to counter this anti-Trump rhetoric. Americans usually pull together at times of crisis. That is what makes this so disturbing. The death rate of Ebola, which we saw no panic, was 50 percent.
The death rate of COVID-19 is estimated at between 2.3 to 3.4 percent, but certain areas are seeing a death rate of just 0.4 percent. 47 percent of those who got the Swine flu were children, and the death rate was 1.3 percent, and we saw little panic. The coronavirus affects most the elderly, with less than one percent of children infected. The children who are infected see mild symptoms.
Yes, take precautions, but don’t buy into the panic. The Trump administration has this well in hand.
“Trump banned travel from China and saved untold number of lives. Tell me any Democrat would have made that call,” reporter Margot Clevland said. President Trump went against all the experts when he initiated the travel ban. He has done an excellent job of managing the crisis, and it’s time all Americans learn the truth.
